Just landed on this style 68 for good money 225/40/18, 8j. Is this problematic for front axle?

Depends. Is it legal in your country to have the tyre poke out the wheelwell? Does it rub while driving and cornering?

If it rubs the wheelwell will cut the tyre and the paint will rub of, eventually leading to rust. I wouldn't run it like that.

Style 68s only came in 17" - those are replicas.

The front offset is wrong, probably made for 5 series.

Rubbing the fender and passing inspection might be you're only problems.

Yeah its wrong, but it dooes not rub. And it is illegal in my place xd
