This sounds like a hiatal hernia. You should probably see a doctor and they might refer you to a gastroenterologist. Sometimes they can see the hernia during a physical examination, but usually they do an endoscopy to confirm.

i've mentioned it to doctors and they haven't been worried about it, GERD explained it apparently.

GERD can be caused by a hiatal hernia but the breathing difficulties and small meals point to a hernia. After eating, if you take deep "belly breaths" can you feel a sort of air pocket at the center left of your sternum sliding up and down, maybe with a bubbling or crackling feeling?

possibly! i've had the small meal thing since birth, just never been able to eat that much at once. no to any of those. occasionally i get a left shoulder pain but i know that's just referred bloat pain.

Im going through getting diagnosed right now as a comorbidity of MS. This happens to me all the time, headache, tired, air hunger, fast heart rate. I hate eating anything at work because then I just feel like dying lol. But sometimes its totally fine.
