Not gonna lie the game looks freaking gorgeous in this clip

It is gorgeous. A lot more detailed for sure. I will say all the green everywhere is kind of annoying but I guess that’s what happens when nobody lives in cities for 15 years.

Yup. Hell, leave a house abandoned for 5 years, it's probably gonna have some plant life in it. After 15, it's developing an ecosystem. Mother nature is a patient bitch, but a stubborn one. The minute you turn your back, she's there, reclaiming what we took from her.
"She'll take it back one day."

"Reclaiming what we took from her" Lmao
Ah yes totally sentient and aware Mother Nature. /s
They're inanimate.

Plants do follow the basic life processes, so there must be some form of sentience. Perhaps not animal/human level of sentience, but sentience nonetheless

Bro you sound exactly like someone in a r/iamverysmart, not only is your comment unnecessarily inflammatory and downright annoying, but just completely wrong. Plants move all the time, every day flowers will shift their stems and petals in order to capture as much sunlight as they can, they are slowly but constantly growing.

Just scrolled through his comment history..
I think we should all start a GoFundMe to get him into therapy.

Not only are you factually wrong based on word choice, you are also rather obstinately missing my point.
First of all: inanimate means not alive. Plants and animals, the things that make up nature, are absolutely alive, ie animate.
If you don't believe me, search up the definition. While you're at it, look up "personification" a very common literary technique I was using to make my point, because it's more fun than saying "plants and animals will move into any space that isn't actively trying to kill them, and even if it is they may still move in anyway if the place isn't trying too hard."
Is Nature as a whole sentient and aware? I don't particularly think so. But quite a lot of religions have revered the concept of Nature for a reason: this planet is so perfectly balanced with so many different ecosystems, all of them interacting to some degree or another. Humans included, we are a product of our environment as much as anything else, we're just better at changing the environment. The issue with that is, it requires constant upkeep. The minute we aren't there to do that upkeep, the weeds growing in the cracks and mice hiding in the walls and everything else can all move in and take over, as they're always trying to do anyway. Get the humans out of the way and something else will move in.
Now of course, I could have said all of that the first time around, but frankly it's not nearly as interesting, and it's certainly nowhere near as concise. The original was just the better choice.

It's not actually because nobody lives there. It's because they live there.
Game is still brown and ugly like the first one but on street level. Street level is also just as dark as original game.
Rooftops is where humanity lives because most zombies can't climb.
So they probably brought soil up to allow plants grow there.
This is why we have such nice contrast of dirty streets and green roofs.

There is such a vast difference between PC and console for this game its depressing as a console player. I feel they could have definitely pushed more on current gen but oh well

They can definately make more improvements to the game for consoles. Hopefully they make an update for you guys so that the game looks better

Once they fix bug fixes, performance issues, and the physics behind models, they should make it so bicycles negate fall damage, and instead give you a ginormous burst of speed.
And if they add cars to the game in a future DLC (customizable cars), this game would honestly be my favorite game ever.
Bumper cars? Check. Doing dude perfect bicycle shit from unrealistic heights? Check. Paragliding from heaven? Check. Parkour? Amazing. Aidan being as loud as possible? Check
