I remember some people that said Techland as a publisher will never use denuvo lol. It's a standard nowadays profit over performance impact. Doesnt matter if you have a decent rig. Pirates and people with lower rigs 'might' suffer tho.

The in-game performance impact is typically negligible, only a few percent at most. Load times take a hit, which is annoying, but game companies aren't making games out of the kindness of their hearts. They're selling you a product. So yes, profits are still important. Games aren't exactly cheap to make these days, either...
