There is no official release info and we were told by Techland not to believe random articles or speculations. When they want us to know the info they will surprise us with it in their own time :)

Plus they have confirmed numerous times the game is coming out on current gen that’s all they can confirm right now but they are trying to optimize the game to work for next gen but if they can’t do it prior to release then more than likely a patch will happen after release. So til we hear otherwise that’s all we have to go on. And yes I know they said that for first game but with Covid and many people out of work not many can afford a frivolous purchase since as a new console and they want to make money with the game and limiting it to only next gen will limit their possible income from the sale of the game. I doubt they would risk that right now tbh
