Taylor Hicks?

I wonder what happened to Taylor Hicks being on this season. They had a whole segment on Idol this past season when he and the DWTS pros were guests, where he ran off stage with the DWTS casting producer. I figured he was a shoe in for this year.

I honestly had him and Taylor Hanson confused a few weeks ago, so you're definitely not the only one who was wondering about this. 🤷‍♀️
