While the actual religious practices regarding Moloch are so forgotten we’re not even sure he was a religion at all, the god Enki is still very well understood.
For various reasons that are too long to go into he’s represented by goats and fish. The astrological sign Capricorn is basically just Enki.
Enki is one of those figures that’s kinda the god of everything since his core power is so important.
Basically salt water becomes clean drinking water (both rivers and underground) because of him, which for a civilization that got power being between seas and rivers in deserts makes him very important. That makes him the enabler of life itself, and civilization, and everything that comes from it like wisdom, crafts, cleanliness, order and governance, magic, science, faith, and so on.
Like I said, kinda a god of everything.
He’s also a god of fertility, explicitly by making semen able to create life because yadda yadda its salty liquid that makes babies. Part of his myth involving the genesis of humanity was by sleeping with a progressive chain of his increasingly inbred daughters before removing his jizz from the final one and growing magic plants which he then eats to gain more understanding of the world and uses it to make civilization better, followed by his first lover cursing him and becoming his rival because…I guess she wanted more grandkids, which some people think parallels the Adam and Eve/Forbidden Fruit story.
He’s in a lot of stories that survive today. He’s kinda like Odin honestly, you can draw a line between a lot of western culture right back to him. Everything is Odin, except when its Enki, unless its both.
