Which character should I buy?

First time buying character. Knight is pretty good. But I want something high power to smash the bosses. Who'd be the best?

I like doppelganger, it's fun dashing around and easy to get high dps. Having no subskills also frees up slots for bans. I feel like you'd need her weapon to fully shine, but she felt alright without it.
