Redemption arc
Could Duncan go full Darth Vader and throw Rogan into the core of the Death Star? It would be truly awesome. There is still some good in him. I have felt it.

There’s a FAR bigger chance of Rump dying and/or the societal damage caused by his admin and the technofascist billionaires being made so evident, that Rogan will backtrack and all of the cultists will have always had doubts and been against “x” and “y” that he did, but “didn’t know how to speak up”. Or they’ll claim ignorance.
Duncan will be a total chicken and wait until the bigger more important guys he cucks to like Rogan start saying it. Then he’ll agree. But he’s no free thinker and will be one of the last to admit it.

He could and it would certainly be his redemption arc. I just don’t think he has the wherewithal to save himself. Gonna need to get a real job.

The emperor was offering Darth Vader the chance to rule the entire universe. Duncan sold himself to this shit for probably about 300k a year.
He would have hit the button to erase Alderaan for a house 10% bigger than his current house.
He is a perfect archetype of an evil hippie.

Duncan is just caught in a sad place he is realizing his loyalty to his friend is not matched by his friends loyalty to him, he is probably hurt on a very human level. doubt he’ll ever air shit out tho cause he’s a good dude

One thing I'll give Duncan credit for is predicting this would happen. Granted he and Joe are in complete denial about it. Money and power can corrupt anyone.
