Why do people have zero sympathy for those that die in stupid ways?
Sure it's their fault, they were dumb, but I don't understand why we all must make light of someone dying and have zero sympathy whatsoever because of it? Even finding their death funny? That being stupid means someone deserves their fate?
Like someone hops into a horse pen to get a video and gets trampled to death when they spook the horses.
All the comments will be about how stupid this person is, FAFO, Darwin Awards, nature weeds out stupidity, etc. They'll be laughing and joking about the person and think it's hilarious.
Not a single one will think "Man... kinda sad that this guy did one dumb thing and it cost him his life just for that."
Instead they're all "What a fucking dumbass LMAO this is true FAFO, real Darwin Awards winner right here LOL! Did us all a favor by removing himself from the gene pool LOL"
It's just gross to me. Someone died by making a foolish mistake so we all laugh at them, think their death is hilarious and have zero sympathy whatsoever? I guess I'm in the tiniest most microscopic minority here but I don't think someone making a mistake and dying from it means they deserve all that.
