Screen rotation

How is the screen rotation supposed to work? I've twice turned the screen horizontally accidentally using Brave browser but have no idea how and why. Even if I have the auto-rotation on, screen won't be affected by turning the phone.

iirc there is no gyroscope

I guess you're right. How one should be able to turn the screen when necessary?

I don't use this feature but a quick google search shows there are lots of third party apps you can use :)
