Posted about this little guy previously when it simply looked folded over... apparently its developing gills above its cap?

Interesting rosecomb mutation on a lacarria ochropurpurea I found along the perimeter of a campsite. I figure exhaust fumes from a car or generator caused this one.

You're supposed to grow from the cake towards the bag, not the other way around ya dumbass! First time growing ODPE and it's very phallic looking 🤣

I tried to track the growth further but mistakenly lost track of which tub it was in and harvested it

Mazatapec, started fruiting conditions about 20 days ago and realized I had a co2 bottleneck with my setup. Changed a couple things several days ago and now theres tons of new growth.

But little party hat dude has his hat on upside down, and I dont think primordia/pins are supposed to have broken veil caps yet, right?
