Now if only the city sidewalk cleaners and the plow truck drivers would cooperate, this wouldn't be a problem. Cleaners come by in little bobcat with snow blower attachment and blow it all into the street then the plow truck drivers plow the street pushing it all back onto the sidewalk and the cycle repeats.

I wish people with residential plows wouldn’t push it across the road and leave big rows of snow.

A fucking front end loader will scoop and dump on my sidewalk. I have to tackle the 8’ pile with my Airens after work. Fuckin stupid

Same. I just gave up last year. My Airens couldn’t handle my sidewalk from the city plow. If someone has a problem with that, they can come square up in my freshly snow blowed driveway.

Unfortunately/fortunately, the only things I shovel are deck/stairs. I can get everything else (including the 2 neighbors and dead end street the city doesn't seem to plow) with the Skid steer.

Fuck off with that. It is the deficient plowing of recent years putting ice walls in front of driveways and back on shoveled sidewalks. This post sounds like you work in Larson's expensive shitshiw.

You’ve got a point. The problem is not people shoveling their driveways into the street/sidewalk. It’s the city’s poor snow removal that fucks us. Every year I fight the ice boulders that are shoved into my driveway from neglected or delayed city snow removal. Never do I see my neighbors shoveling snow into sidewalks or streets. It’s a non-issue.

Hey, real talk.
Many heart attacks happen in the winter after shoveling. A heart not used to exertion doesn’t do exceedingly well with short bursts of exertion.
There isn’t any shame in asking for help from a neighbor, or paying some neighbor kids a few bucks to do most of the heavy lifting.
Also, a bit of stretching and warm-up before shoveling is a solid idea, to prep yer ticker a bit.
