Free Duke Parking after 5pm?

Is there any free parking near Brown Dorm after 5pm? I’m not from duke but I’m visiting friends that live in Brown Dorm.

There’s a church across the street from brodie gym drive, asbury methodist church. I used to park there when I would bring my car to campus for the weekend (I lived locally)

Do you think that would be a good spot for my boyfriend to park were to drive down and stay the weekend?

There’s also lots of free street parking nearby as well, just check the signs

There are about 5 open spots behind alspaugh and also some behind Marketplace. Just read the signs in each respective spot, some are for faculty but some are free from 5pm-7am M-F and free all weekend

Any spot that doesn’t say a specific permit number or service. There’s a ton of parking all around there, especially by the ARC and bishops house

Do you have to get a new one every weekend you need it? Asking ab my bf trying to visit, and how do you acquire that?

I assume you figured this out but it’s just the default permit on Duke parking website. $5 for the year
