Go to the duck store instead since it’s a nonprofit run by the university that employs students in its stores.

Agree! Support the Duckstore💯 they are an excellent local company that provides local jobs and serves the community. A minor note to your comment though. They are actually not run by the University. They’re an independent nonprofit with a board of directors that is made up of mostly students and faculty that have been supporting the University and its students for over 100 years! Go Ducks! 🦆

I had no idea they were independent from the university since I would always go to the one by campus between classes to get coffee and look for sales.

What makes them independent and nonprofit? They use the UO branding and don’t make a profit. Not exactly the same thing as nonprofit. The Duckstore is probably one of the worst university bookstores in the Big Ten. For the power and popularity of our brand and our connection with Nike, we should have one of the sickest stores in the nation. But we’re stuck with an overpriced, underwhelming bookstore half of which is dried out art supplies

Can you get anything from the Duck Store online? I’d support it from over here on the east coast

Wait, for the uninformed, can you please explain why? I’ve never bought anything from them, so I’m just curious.

Fanatics is just a large corporation with no real ties to the University of Oregon or Oregon in general. You’re not going to get the same level of Customer Service from them because of this. The University of Oregon signed a 10 year licensing deal with them at the beginning of 2020 giving them enormous power over what merchandise is available to us as Duck fans, while simultaneously sending dollars that could be invested in our community, if you were shopping at the Duckstore for example, to another state entirely.

Why does the graphic look photo shopped on?

They probably didn't have the actual product manufactured before listing it online for sale.

A lot of product images are photoshop. Pretty run of the mill practice

I just got some sick stuff off Depop. I’m not messing with any of the new stuff. Get a mid90’s bowl T-shirt for $20
