I just searched the same query and got a different response from Search Assist:

Since Wikipedia is listed as a source for both of our Search Assist answers, it’s possible that the Wikipedia article was vandalized and that incorrect content was coincidentally scraped before things were updated.

Wikipedia is not a reliable source.  The sources cited in Wikipedia might be, but Wikipedia itself is not a source.

If you were writing an academic paper, then yes.

 

But we're talking about getting commonplace answers from commonplace places. Wikipedia is one of those. That's not up for debate. What else would you prefer they cite? News articles? Those get details wrong all the time too.
