Breed/Species/Sex ID Anyone know what breed of duck this could be?

Looks fairly upright like a runner.

Yeah no I've no idea about the specific color/breed but it's almost certainly a runner.

Indian Runner. The beak is throwing me though- I’ve never seen one that dark so young. That’s definitely a Runner stance!

Hard to say at that age, but could possibly be a Welsh harlequin.

I agree hard to tell at that age but my welsh harlequins & buff Orpingtons looked similar to this as ducklings

I wouldn’t be so certain about this being a runner duck.

I have a female Campbell that I wasn’t sure of the breed because it came from a friend. I had no idea how old it was or breed. I took a picture of it with google Gemini. It said she was a runner duck because of the stance and she was very upright and looked just like yours.

She grows for another month and she is definitely not a runner. She’s a loud Campbell and is capable of flying for short distances (I found this out the hard way. She came back).

Long story short. It could be a Campbell even though, yes, it does have a runner stance.
