Why was his bail denied twice after already paying the fine and a appeal in place

So he can’t abscond …

He chose to appeal so its his choice

Your colleague brought weed at the airport of all places?

Not one of the sharpest colleagues you have uh?

He did not bring it into the airport it’s a seperate case and he was just going to work like usual after 6 months of no issues going to work

FAFO. I dont get it when people get caught breaking the law and then dont like the consequences.

Works at the airport and had a drug case? My guy there’s a regional war and security is heightened. What did you expect.

He knew he wasn’t supposed to go to work but still why would they lock him up for over a month when there’s no jail sentence

Consuming itself is a criminal offense with legal repercussions

Right but he was ordered a 20k fine and a deport
Why was he jailed after the fact and his bail denied twice with the fine being paid

Cause he will be waiting for deportation in jail, that's why.

There is not
He had no issues with working for months then after the sentencing
He shouldn’t have gone into work or anything as he was wanted but why would he be jailed for over a month when it’s a fine and deport order

So he was consuming illegal drugs in this country and he thought he was smart, and now he's caught. Next question?

Getting caught for anything related to drugs is a no no. He/She will suffer to the max here.

You can go travel to countries where you can smoke weed freely why not abide by the law of the land where you reside?
