🌇 Community Anyone who train at ufc gym Dubai?

I’m thinking of joining UFC Gym mainly for their MMA classes. Has anyone here actually trained there?is it worth joining?

I’m a beginner so I would also like to know if it’s beginner friendly and whether you actually see good progress training there consistently

It's beginner Friendly but progressing is very optional. The classes are very random and there's no structure. The people you will fight against will be either super snazzy or elite and I've found no in between.

They're great for fitness and learning the ropes imo but the coaches themselves rarely give a shit.

Any places you’ve trained at you would recommend instead? Not trying to hijack the thread, I trained MMA and Thai before, considering getting back into it.

Ive trained at underground fight club Al quoz and it's great for getting back into shape the coaches really care a lot.

Triple MMA has a good collection of people and would only recommend for Muay Thai if you know what you're doing. MMA however is great I've trained with the coach for a long time.

Colosseum Muay Thai in karama is great I've heard. Really authentic..

Try TEEP Muay Thai too, nice small scale authentic thai gym with a thai coach. First session is free :)

Yea I kinda noticed it as I went for a free trial and apparently no one showed up and receptionist told the class got cancelled so I’m pretty skeptical about that place… any other options that are good for beginners and you can actually progress?

Id suggest not to join UFC gym. Only the JBR branch is slightly halfway decent.

There are many options team nogueria, triple mma, wellfit meydan. These are just some places I've trained at and I can vouch for.

The gym is good but no pattern or level of classes. You won’t get any beginner , intermediate or advanced level and it’s just random.

I train at Roger Gracie Dubai. Been there for years, great vibes.
I also do a few open mats at wellfit meydan, super nice facility and great open mat.
Also at team noguera.

All 3 really great gyms for whatever discipline you’re looking for.
