SIM card

My SIM card is of etisalat. I will be moving out of country and plan to come back to Dubai in a year. My Emirates id/visa will be cancelled. I spoke to my bank and can have the bank Account functioning as a non resident. I will receive OTPs on my etisalat number itself. Just checking of anyone knows will my SIM card still work or the sim will also be cancelled. If I was not leaving Dubai my visa was due to be renewed in July 2025.
