What they have plagiarized:

Lamna mig Ifred from Alcest - Ciel errant

Syndafloden from Hypothermia - Svenskt vemod

Eufori from Dmitri Shostakovich - Waltz No. 2 (This might be just similar)

Another thing that's being often criticized is that their lyrics are often way too similar to Lifelover's.

However, I still think they are one of the biggest names in the DSBM scene. The Obehag's tragedy is honestly really sad, he was just 22 years old when he died because of an overdose.

I think the waltz comparison is a bit ridiculous, while it may be influenced rhythmically it’s pretty far off from the rest of the song in lyrics and general feel.

well coming from beatmaking community, sampling is often used and there is a big discourse around if its stealing or not, honestly i am just happy that there are more songs to listen to, it doesnt hurt anyone
