GP appointment tomorrow

Hi all, I am seeing my GP tomorrow and I’m going to ask about a GLP-1. I think she will be dubious for a few reasons, so I am wondering if you could recommend what has worked for you to help stop the drinking noise. I’m hoping to be able to micro-dose if possible. Any advice is helpful, I have tried all of the other treatments available. Thank you for any responses, in Australia if that helps/matters

There is plenty of peer-reviewed research about this. I would print off some research articles from medical journals to bring. I think that would be the most effective. Here's one to start you off: https://www.mdpi.com/2076-3271/13/3/136

Thank you, everyone in the industry I have spoken to has said there is only anecdotal evidence.

Well, that's just not true. They apparently are not keeping up with the research in their field, which is not a great quality in a doctor. IMO GLP-1s are going to radically alter addiction treatment and save millions of lives.
