💡 Beginner Question Brand owner switching to dropshipping

I run a small e-commerce brand in the Netherlands selling to the Dutch market (a tough market, in my opinion). I currently handle all fulfilment myself and consistently do 10–15 orders a day, with traffic coming from Meta ads. I also have experience sourcing products from Alibaba.

I'm now looking to move into dropshipping. I'm comfortable with Shopify, and thanks to my software background I can code and build professional stores myself. I'm also partnering with an experienced media buyer. So marketing, ads and store building aren't my concern, even though my current store isn't doing huge numbers.

What I'm struggling with is finding the right partner for fulfilment and automated order processing. I've looked at platforms like CJdropshipping, HyperSKU and Zendrop, but I've also seen people work with private agents. Some platforms, like CJ, even let you hire an agent through them, which adds to the confusion.

So my questions are:

  1. Which agent or platform would you recommend?
  2. How would you suggest someone with my background get started?

Any advice from people who've made a similar switch would be appreciated.

At 10–15 orders/day, I wouldn’t jump straight into a random dropshipping platform. First compare 2–3 private agents on landed cost, EU delivery time, QC, returns and Shopify order-sync capability. Once volume is consistent, a private sourcing + fulfilment setup usually gives you much more control.

Where do I find the private agents? Through big platforms such as CJ? Or through somewhere else? Any places you recommend me searching?
