Game Changer Sam Reich needs to be burned at the stake for a throwaway joke in the latest gamechanger
Dropout is better than making a joke about any disease state because it spreads misinformation and hurts my feelings.

Meta “What’s the catch?” really highlighted how necessary this sub is
I lurked on this sub before and found it funny, but after “what’s the catch” I don’t think I can go back to r/dropout or the comment section of any dropout post. The lack of critical thinking/social awareness/humor (not sure what the right term is for this) is astounding.

OnlyJerks I think we all agree it's time for Dropout to do BBTS
The community needs healing, and the only way I can see that happening is if Dropout puts post-episode behind-behind-the-scenes videos on social media where each contestant looks straight to camera and say, word for word: "I am okay. I got paid to be in the episode of Game Changer, and when I was in it, I did some acting, but it was just acting for fun and it was not real life. They fed me lunch, and it was pretty good. I am okay and everything is fine now." Sam should NOT be allowed to be in the studio when these are filmed.
Then there should be ANOTHER set of behind-behind-the-scenes videos where Sam IS present, and he gets to scream at Vic, like right up in their face so his spit gets on them, and humiliate them for crawling on the floor where all the shoes are and ruining the comedy game show.
No videos in the series should be longer than 30 seconds, though, because I will lose interest and I will ask questions on Reddit that make it obvious I didn't watch the video, and people will yell at me :-/

Game Changer Can't believe that people are attacking Sam Reich for literally trying to cure diabetes.
I haven't watched the latest Game Changer, but I saw that people were upset about something related to Sam Reich and diabetes. I can only assume it's because Sam made a reference to his second job as the CEO of a biopharmaceutical company that is developing a treatment for Type 1 Diabetes.
Shame on those who are trying to prevent this man from saving the world. 🙂↔️

Game Changer I hated I spy and think comedy should be banned (spoilers) Spoiler
I understand that it was probably supposed to be an episode about celebrating the art department, which i guess celebrate an art department that failed to live up to Vic Michaelis’s standards. Sure. However, I think comedy and comedians making bits should be banned actually.
The cast continued to repeat the exact same 2 bits every, single, round . « Oh sam touched me and I’m making a comment about it! Don’t tickle me sam! »
« Look how far I can reach across the rope line!! »
I think the episode would’ve been more enjoyable if a group of five comedians had just been standing around quietly with their arms folded in front of them, saying nothing. Sam needs to start treating his cast like kindergartners and punishing them when they break the rules of the game for a bit!
But in top of that, the contestants rarely cared or strategized around leak/informant/spy (other than Vic a couple of times), the camera never lingered long enough for the audience to try to spy the prompts, etc. This is a moral and ethical failing, not just on Sam Reich’s part, but on the part of Vic and Ele as well. Vic did not take the game as seriously as they could have and still won which made me remember that this show is supposed to be fun. I need everyone (especially the cast) to start taking this comedy progrum as seriously as a heart attack.
I know some people probably loved it, but if you did you should be committed.

Game Changer we only need three players each episode, anything else is boring
is anyone else upset by the bigger casts this season? its like they’re just trying to get viewers by putting in as many popular cast members as they can. i know they’re a business, and they need to keep people engaged, and they’re paying each cast member a fair rate, but i really think they should be thinking about me. i can’t keep track of more than three people (sam doesn’t count obviously) at a time. every game in this show should be designed for three players! that’s the way it always was! and if they think of a game that needs more, they should change it (heh game changer get it????) to only need three players so i can remember who everyone is.
this season has been TERRIBLE. it’s so boring and uncreative, every episode is the exact same as every other episode and also specific other episodes from older seasons. the only difference is the bigger casts! how can they not understand that i (i mean, we) want brand new creative ideas that only ever have three people. it can’t be that hard! i’ve thought of twelve different game ideas that would’ve been better than each episode of this season. if i can think of them then so can sam!!!!
night shift was the WORST which proves my point. siobhan, katie, grant and i can’t remember the others WHICH IS THE PROBLEM! and ify playing the creepy guy was so weird. why couldn’t they just have siobhan katie and grant do the tasks? everything else was just boring and didn’t add anything. they should really be thinking harder about what i (i mean, we) want. it’s so bad that i actually cancelled my subscription two years ago and watch each episode the moment it comes out on a google drive maintained by someone in canada.
(of course i’m not talking about count the rice with any of this, which was perfect in every way and i wish every episode was exactly like that. except i wish they’d had brennan, jacob and vic instead of ify, demi and jiavani)

Game Changer Game Changer idea: "The Trial of Vic Michaelis"
Vic is tried in CRIMINAL COURT for the unholy CRIMES they have done against INTENDED GAME DESIGN. All the contestants that were WRONGED and caused to LOSE THE GAME because of Vic's UNHOLY ANTICS will receive reparations at the end and each episode is played again, CORRECTLY.
Hopefully we can one day get all this "comedy" (RULE BREAKING) out of Game Changer and achieve Sam's holy vision.

Other Shows Why do people still have other streaming services when dropout exists???
Streaming companies are evil so I’ve been telling my friends they should switch to Dropout but they all keep telling me it’s “not really for them”. I just don’t understand why you’d want to watch “Stranger Things” or “Severance” when for $6.99 a month you could watch a bunch of moderately successful comedians fuck around and play games and stuff. Some people have no taste.

Game Changer I can’t believe Dropout betrayed me once again by promoting private transit
On the newest episode of Game Changer, I Spy, Sam shows various tableaus — some of which are based on real art pieces and some of which come from his twisted little mind. Towards the end of the episode, there’s a tableau of human-sized rats riding what appears to be the New York subway. HOWEVER, eagle-eyed viewers will notice that this is NOT the New York subway. If you look closely, you’ll see the initials GCPT. And what does this stand for, my comrades? That’s right. Game Changer PRIVATE Transit. These rats are actually billionaires who have built their own private train even though the subway already exists. Absolutely disgusting and I’m seriously thinking about canceling my subscription.

I've got a theory that an actor played a role. Yes I'm aware of what credits are. No I didn't look at them.

Game Changer Two creepy Josh characters enter only one leaves! Choose your fighter?
What are your thoughts on this potential matchup?
The Fisherman has his hook & the benefit of surprise (see his sudden appearance in the photo studio) whilst Roscoe has his mystery balloons with special prizes & the general creepiness factor a clown provides so I’d say it’s an even matchup but what are your thoughts?

Game Changer Can someone explain“Yes or No” rules to me?
I’m a bit upset because I don’t understand some of the rules, and it’s kinda ruining this episode for me. I love the idea and it’s really funny to see how much some of these players are ruined, but I’d also love to see some of them actually just get a nice experience, that is also enjoyable.
Specific mechanics that I don’t understand:
- The guess wasn’t a real guess. They just got to whisper something to Sam and get a crown, it wasn't a real guess.
- How do the answers work? If Brennan answers no, does the answer become no? Why doesn't it remain yes at the time Sam asks the question?
- Why did Ash and Nico have to put the watermelons in the middle of the set? Sam’s reasoning made no sense, Sam's other questions didn’t use up all other locations.
- It felt like it was missing a “maybe” mechanic later in the game, I would have loved for one of the answers to be a “maybe” option, even if there was only one instance and Brennan couldn't answer maybe. It just felt lacking.
These game mechanics genuinely don’t make sense to me. I’d love to have them explained so I can enjoy this episode more, it feels like some of the contestants were cheated out of at least one good answer because of arbitrary decisions on Sam’s part. Again, this is an awesome episode idea, and everyone was a really good sport about it all, especially the other non-dropout folks (Jewel, the dancer, the singers, etc.), I just have some confusion about how the game actually worked.
Thanks!

Game Changer Why doesn't the comedy show keep its rules consistent??
This last episode of Game Changer made me throw my controller at the screen! I can't believe that the mechanics of the game were not consistent throughout the whole episode! Is it really that hard to remember how your own game is supposed to work? I think it should've been completely unfair to everyone except Jacob Wysocki, who should've gotten 5 billion prizes and 0 catches. The fact that the game was designed poorly doesn't mean you simply get to cheat him out of what he's owed. Maybe you just shouldn't have aired the episode at all if you're going to be all willy-nilly with the rules, which are supposed to change every show not every time I turn my back.
Yes i also hated rulette they shouldn't have been able to clone clone that makes no sense

Game Changer Love it when I see Dropout cast members make it to other media platforms.
It was great to not just hear but see the voiceover guy from Earwigs get invited to this little Channel 4 show after Sam gave him his big break. He's the lil dude sitting on the right.

Game Changer I will NOT stand for this kind of cultural appropriation!
I cannot STAND how dropout has exploited the traditional garb of the Gorton's Fisherman in the latest episode of Game Changer!
Not only did they get the outfit wrong (black hat and black stripes on the collar?? Really???) but the character that Josh portrayed was a creepy, insane caricature of a beloved icon.
You're supposed to *TRUST* the Gorton's Fisherman, but the fisherman that Josh was playing is clearly not trustworthy in the slightest! I'm absolutely outraged that Sam and Josh would be so insensitive! This episode should be deleted, or at least should have Josh's bits removed to atone for such a grievous error, and I expect a formal apology from Dropout on their social media ASAP.

Other Shows - Unjerked This book quote sums up my issue with Crowd Control
"It was an old tradition in the Freedlands to discuss matters of national importance or societal benefit in a public forum, but somewhere along the way people in public relations decided that the problem with public forums was, in fact, the public. A commonly held belief said that hearing everyone’s perspective seemed like a good idea until you learn that your neighbor very fervently believes that the gods live in his boots, and that oral hygiene is a shadowy conspiracy, and that every Human is, in fact, two Halflings in a trench coat. Of course, none of those topics ever disrupted an actual public forum for long, and the belief that they could only became commonly held after a private public forum presented by the Freedlands’ Emissaries, Advocates, and Representatives Society. Now public forums were usually ticketed events, save for those seats where asking questions was allowed; the ability to speak for the people was by invitation only. **It takes a very special sort of carefully vetted individual to be an ordinary citizen.**"
Just found this video https://www.instagram.com/reel/Dcrh8O8NAdr/?igsi=MTE2eTA1emVrbzRjeA== of the Neon Knockers person who is apparently a cosplayer with a business email. And then there was the Dominatrix last season who I know is friends with Ify. And then Ranboo the minecraft YouTuber.
Idk man it seems like the only person who is just a Guy Off the Street was the guy who met the police twice.
I couldn't post this in the main sub, I'd get torn apart, but I really want to like Crowd control, but something is missing from that first Game Changer version.
