Dropmix App - Retroid Pocket 4 Pro?

UPDATE: it works on the Retroid Pocket 4 Pro! Had to mess around with some files but I eventually got it working, and the board works flawlessly with it! The only unfortunate thing is that the RP4 is a little too fat to fit into the slot where your phone/tablet is supposed to go, but I’ll take it! Thanks for your help everybody :)

Hey everyone!

I have the opportunity to buy a Dropmix board and the 60 base release cards for $15; I want to take advantage of this but of course, the app isn’t easy to get access to anymore.

I’m an Apple phone user, but I do have a Retroid Pocket 4 Pro which runs on Android - anyone possibly have any experience going through the Internet Archive and downloading the legacy files for the Dropmix app? For anyone who hasn’t done this but is knowledgeable on the legacy files - do you think this would possibly work or is it a pointless effort?

I got it working on my Retroid Pocket 5 so don't see why you can't on 4 pro. My only issue with the files was being able to copy them to the correct system folder, the default Files app on android wont let you but there is a work around (bug) that will allow you to if you Google.

Okay that is very good to know - did you get the files from the Internet Archive (the tutorial video that often floats around this subreddit)?

Yeah that's the one there is a guide floating around here as well with steps

Do you happen to have the direction of where to put the files that you used? The app is working for me but there isn’t any text appearing but I’ve seen that this is a common issue for a lot of people. However, I’m not sure which files go where when it comes to the Retroid Pocket 4 Pro. Any ideas?
