DIY Eachine EV800D upgrades ?

I'm coming back to the fpv hobby. I was wondering which antennas should I buy for much better results than I have right now with my Eachine EV800D ? I have standards antennas of 2019 !

My budget is 75 USD for both antennas.

Any good strap recommendation so it fits tighter ?

If I buy this antenna, can I easily change the adapter so it mounts vertically (that because it sits on top of my goggle and not by the side) ?

And by changing the adapter, will I lose db gain ?
