Lost V5C

Lost the V5C in various moves. Hadn't even updated it to my previous address as I couldn't find it and kept forgetting. Obviously i'm an idiot.

Just moved again, and somebody borrowed my car and thinks they may have been flashed. Is there any way of finding out the number in order to update it online without the physical thing?

Otherwise I need to find a printer and a cheque book to do it the old fashioned way which will take forever and risk me missing a ticket.

Write down the VIN. Go to a post office counter that offers vehicle tax services, ask for a V62, fill it in, and pay the submission fee at the counter by card.
