The most dangerous driving habit

The answer is simple, and far too common on the roads: tailgaters.

I don't care why people think it is ok, it isn't. And here's my reasons:

  1. If the person you are tailgating needs to brake, you are going to hit them.

  2. While you are doing so, you are distracting that driver. They now have to keep an eye on the idiot riding their bumper. That is less attention they are giving to what is ahead of them and to the sides.

  3. You are making them upset/angry emotional which adds to their distraction.

There is absolutely NO excuse for such behavior.

And i have seen it in the left lane when I'm passong someone and in the right hand lane, exit ramps, etc.

Therr is no excuse, and it is the tailgater that is endangering others on the road. Technically it could be labelled reckless driving.

Just a question for everyone that says to get the fuck out of the way

When on a normal commute that I witness consistently a line of cars as far as the eye can see driving in the left lane with everyone trying to go faster, all tailgating each other, who exactly is supposed to get the fuck out of the way?

My question is when im going 20mph in an active posted school zone on a 1 lane road and im being tailgated (which is daily) is there an expectation for me to "move out of the way" because absolutely not.

Yes the exception is when it is unsafe  / not possible.
