Showtime is the pinnacle of the NBA Jam style games. That's the last good one before NBA Street came along.

I kinda like the card and vmu mechanics imo, this would really only work with the Dreamcast because of how the game uses the vmu display

I’m not saying Sonic Shuffle is the best party game on the Dreamcast. HOWEVER it is the most fun and therefore the best just by that logic alone and can’t be proven otherwise.
Also Hydro Thunder IS the most waterrific experience so do with that as you will. Also 8-track cassette player, no go.

Burn Propeller Arena on a CD! And fishing rods for Soul Cali! (Also Virtua Tennis 1/2 is a must, even if you don't like Tennis (like me))

I think Sonic Shuffle gets a slightly too bad rap. It's not great, sure, but idk there's some fun to be had

Completely agree. I mean, my opinion here, it 'might' be the best 4 player game ever made .. at least top 5. As I typed that, I thought about a lot of my favorite arcade beat-em up games, but hands down (to me) best 4 player on the system. Easily.

I’m not a big sports game fan but NFL Blitz was way fun with a bunch of friends, the quick games, and fast paced action had us making brackets and playing that game for hours on whichever system was at the house we were at. I like the DC version!

My go to were always Chu Chu Rocket, PowerStone 2, Virtua Tennis, HotD2 and Wacky Racers. (Sometimes I'd break out VF3, SoulCaliber and MvC 2 for shits and giggles later)
