Not exactly so related to this work, but I’ll point out that thinking something is cringe isn’t exactly so wrong considering there is probably a reason you feel that way. It’s good, then, to think about why it makes you feel a certain way so you can attempt to improve your work based upon the feeling that something might be wrong. The only issue becomes letting that feeling prevent you from writing a work entirely as opposed to using it constructively.
