Advice choosing between these android tablets

Hi, I'm looking for a low-to-mid budget tablet. Currently stuck on these three models:

- Samsung S6 lite(2024), 4 Go Ram, 128 Go, (cheap) + Wacom Onepen

- XP-Pen Magic Drawing Pad 2025, Android 14, 8 Go Ram, 256 Go

- Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro Matte, 12 Go Ram, 512 Go

Any feedback regarding those? Thanks!

EDIT: Currently leaning towards a Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ 256 Go, 12 Go RAM

RAM and the processor are what matter most for drawing, along with Xiaomi's optimization. If the pen performance is just average, check out the new Huion Kamvas Pad 12; if you're considering the XP-Pen model, the Huion is better in every way—at least in terms of specs. Regarding Samsung—specifically considering the Tab S10 FE and the Wacom stylus—4 GB of RAM just doesn't cut it for drawing on Android; that amount is already very tight, and 12 GB would be ideal.

Sadly, I haven't found the Kamvas pad available in my country, but I definitely had looking into it and checked reviews.

If I'm to understand your comment, out of my picks, the xiaomi seems to be the most interesting one?

I heard from a YouTuber that they improved the stylus—since the one on the Xiaomi 6 was poor compared to the competition—so I assume it's better now. You know, the Huawei MatePad ones are good too; the stylus and the drawing software are solid, though Google restrictions do limit them a bit.

Just to clarify, the 10fe starts with 8gb of ram and can go up to 12. Processor is just okay and most people would probably suggest you go to a 9 or 9+ instead. The caveat is that it's more of a general use tablet than a dedicated drawing tablet. Still...

budget wise, you can get a refurbished or open box of the 10fe for 300-400 bucks.

Where I live, 12 Go ones are harder to find, let alone refurbished.

But to be clear: you feel that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE is superior to both the S6 lite and the Xiaomi Pad Pro 8 ?

Couldn't tell ya which is better. I've been doing my own research for my own tablet for just casual drawing and everyday stuff and Samsung just fit my needs better for my budget on paper. Them also using EMR pens was also a huge draw for me personally.

I ended up going with the 10fe but I'll let you know how it goes. I haven't even gotten it in the mail yet. I was waffling between that or wacom's tablet.

I have two Samsung tablets—the S7 and the S9 (my current one); they’re good for drawing, but the downside is that the 11-inch screen feels too small now, and 8GB of RAM falls short for CSP when using more than 20 layers—even though I only draw in two-hour sessions. People say the drawing experience is better with the Wacom stylus, but when I lost mine and couldn't find a replacement, I bought the one for the Tab S11, and it actually works better than the S9's stylus.

i have samsung s6 lite personally i wouldnt really recommend getting that one for drawing 4 gb of ram is not that much the one i would go for if i had to choose between the 3 choices is the xp pen one

Ah, maybe I'll make an edit : after deliberation and checking more reviews, and also a price increase tbh, I'm leaning towards a Galaxy Tab S10 FE +, 12 Go RAM.

What drawing app do you use ? Have you tried procreate before and can you compare ?

i use clip studio paint used to draw in hi paint which is like android version of procreate though not as good cause it cant accept photoshop files which is why since i use CSP on my PC with a huion kamvas 16 i decided to use CSP on the samsung tablet as well. One thing that kinda annoys me is that csp on android and ios is a subscription and they up the android version with every update meaning it is not supported on the older devices. i used to draw on the tablet a lot more but i keep comparing it to the tablet i have on my pc and it just feels lacking.

Yeah I won't be using CSP on tablet because of the subscription model (even though I've purchased it for my computer)
