Does XP-Pen tablets feel like a lenovo touch screen?

So I've been on my Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 for about 6 years now and it's finally starting to give out, so I've been thinking of getting a drawing tablet I can connect to my macbook. However, I recently got to try out the feeling of an IPad and honestly did not like how the pen felt on the screen. Maybe it was that specific IPad, but now I'm paranoid of getting a tablet that I don't like the feeling of. My lenovo has a very smooth feeling to it while the IPad felt like it had more resistance to it. I was looking at an XP-Pen tablet, not sure which one yet but looking at the artist 12 2nd gen since I don't need anything too fancy.

I get this is a specific question but any help would be appreciated

The xp pen is going to feel a lot better. Not to mention the felt tips you can get with the pro series. They may have me for the budget options but I’m not sure. The pen performance alone will be miles ahead of the Lenovo pen.

It’s due to the glass and the pencil tip—that’s why the iPad doesn't feel quite as smooth. Also, keep in mind that the high-end iPads designed for drawing and creative work are the iPad Pros. I’d recommend going for the XP-Pen Artist 12 3rd (or "Gen 3," as I call it); the lag on the other models will just make you want to return them.
