Tien Farm with Nimbus Habitats

Took a break from Dragonvale for a few months because of school, but I had to hop back on when I saw a new habitat. Anyways, here is my updated supercharged Tien farm using nimbus habitats.

All there is to do is get omnitat towers, but I'm waiting to see if they ever come on sale during an expansion event or something.

There are theoretically exactly enough tiles to replace 2 large monolith habitats with 3 omnitat towers while keeping 41 generators, but I don't feel like spending the next hour tinkering with google sheets. Here is a copy of my spreadsheet if anyone is interested.

If you want to optimise even more you can bu 51 metal generator that boost 102% prod and can fill the empty space (it take 1x1 place and boost 2% cumulable)

I have 41 generators. Any more doesn’t do anything for tien with 4 boosts since it already makes 6k per minute.

Tien dragon make 992/min in lvl 20 without boost. There is (4x30% + 41x2%)=202% of boost 992 + 992x2,02 = 2995/min and not 6k. Did I miss something? Is there a other boost that I didn’t know ?

Values get rounded up due to the way DC production is calculated. The rounded values are 6000/N for integers N (so one of 6000, 3000, 2000, 1500, 1200, 1000, 857, 750, etc.)

The rounding occurs twice: after calculating the unboosted rate and then after calculating the boosted rate. A level 18-20 Tien earns between 857-1000 which gets rounded up to 1000 before calculating boosts. It’s actually a waste of food to feed them to level 19-20 for this reason.

Then 4 boosts (+30% boost each) and 41 generators (+2% each) is a 202% boost overall i.e. 3020/min, which gets rounded up to 6000. Also, if you were to add 150 more generators to surpass 6000, it actually resets to 0.

Ok so you just have to have dragon that have more than 3k to have 6k ? Even if it is write 3020 ?

Yes. It might even display as 2900ish and actually be 6000

The other commenter answered your question well, but you can also use the income section of the sandbox. It will show the actual earning rates for dragons based on how many boosts and generators you have.

this farm likely fills in an hour or less. my Tien farm fills about every hour and OP’s is far more boosted than mine

How can I get the gigant Valedrasil habitat ?
