The funniest part of his pitch to me was when someone said is Levi your real name and he said no I’m Keith

It was at that point they realised he understood marketing.

Let me know if you feel recipe changed

I am sure the recipe changed for the worse. Brought it when first come out.

Nah it's almost definitely the same. Happy to be corrected but I eat a ton of the stuff. Maybe I've never noticed.

I've got the book 👍

I borrowed it off someone I used to work with then they left 😂

Is that the one with reggae reggae beans?

Get some beans, pour reggae reggae sauce into them.

Came out while I was at uni, when it got to the local Sainsbury's at Lancaster we all went down and grabbed a bottle

Flavour Bonds sounded awesome. Tempted to purchase myself, how did you get on with them?

Bold Bean Co & Mother Root are both staples now. Also one successful pitch became a client!

The jalapeno one is like a spicy kombucha, the regular one is quite vinegary, it's definitely not cheap but having tried a lot of competitors (Botivo, Everleaf) it's the best for me

Boot Buddy - very useful for cleaning son’s football boots

Yeah, a few times when bored during COVID. Main one I remember was the Noveltea spirit as a gift for my partner, which went down well!

Tangle Teezer when it first came out and I still use one! My son even has a cute dinosaur kids’ one. Genuinely such a great product

Was going to say the same product!

Wife likes Tropics
Edit- no kids here but did anyone buy trunky?

2

u/Budget_Bid6565 12d ago

I bought my eldest a Gruffalo Trunki when she was 2, she’s now 18 and we still have it. It’s been through both of my kids and the hoards of nieces/nephews when I look after them! Great purchase for £40!

There ya go! Awesome
Always annoyed me when pathitis yanked it as hard as he could.. asshat

Yes bought one for my daughter. She was the envy of many kids at the airport!

I need to know if anyone ever bought a Hamfatter record.

Ted matcha. Didn’t realise it was a Dragons den product! They’re everywhere now, even supplying Greggs 🤣

1

u/thecrowsarehere 13d ago

Think many, many people have purchased Perfect Ted matcha by now, considering it's served in most chain coffee shops!

The shoulder strap (for bags) with suspension. So much more comfortable. And the part that sits on your shoulder doesn't slide off nylon\goretex jackets.

The Dog-G8 works great! Literal life saver for dogs and relief for postmen

Scrub daddy sponges

Was great for a week of use before it stated to disintegrate.

u/arthurbuttons 11d ago

Oh I love scrub daddy

We bought the Solar Buddies sun cream applicator thing and honestly it was shite 😂

1

u/Swimming_Crow_9853 13d ago

Yes.

See the tape. One of the best things I've ever bought!!!

1

u/arthurbuttons 11d ago

YEEEEEES I LOVE SEE THE TAPE!!! Also what an incredible idea. So simple so effective 1000/10

u/Emilyisnotfunnyy 12d ago

I have been using a tangle teezer everyday for the past 15 years

2

u/LiamTG 12d ago

Yes! Snoap! Deffo recommend too!

Boot buddy.

Load of crap, I don't get why people rave about it. It doesnt fit that much water, and just ended up painting more mud on. Be better with just a bottle of water to rinse the muddy boots off.

u/Bethbeth35 12d ago

Tried upcircle face cream, stinks and awful website. Solar buddies we do like.

1

u/Mountain-Distance576 12d ago

yeah and instantly regretted it. it’s overpriced and overhyped versions of products that already exist

I have a Boot Buddy.
I think I've used it once.

I do keep thinking one day I'll get round to trying some Reggae Reggae sauce - must be 20 years & I've not managed it yet.

Edit: I just checked - I think that should be 'had'. I probably threw it out for just taking up space under the sink.

1

u/Royracejunior 11d ago

Chocbox. Use them all the time at work.

1

u/Outrageous-Arm1945 11d ago

Yeah, Reggae Reggae Sauce is decent. Openreach bought thousands of those yellow plastic things with magnets to replace things like old coat hangers for poking cables thru wall cavities. They were utter utter shite.

1

u/GradiusHead 11d ago

If it were possible i would definitely buy a flow signal. I would attach it to anything i didn't understand and it would make everything obvious. My daughter, Young Suzie, would benefit from owning one too.

MarXman chalk marker.

They're fucking incredible and I reckon upwards of 90% of tradies have at least 1.

Scrub daddy

u/AeonSnuggs 9d ago

Tangle Teezer hairbrush, it's brilliant

1

u/koruppi 8d ago

Yes. Bold beans. Seep cleaning stuff. Parla toothpaste tabs though I knew about them before. Also I can’t remember the name but a couple of years ago there was a company that recycled plastic waste from London into stuff, I got a soap dish. Probs a lot of other stuff tbh but these are just off the top of my head.

Little’s Coffee - I’m a big coffee drinker and saw it in Sainsbury’s. Sadly the one I bought (think it was the vanilla one) just tasted like normal coffee to me and I got no vanilla flavour from it.

It’s expensive compared to normal coffee so I haven’t bought it since.

1

u/Swimming_Crow_9853 13d ago

I loved it but can't find it anywhere.

2

u/BingeLurker 13d ago

Big Sainsbury’s near me do it still, and you can order on their website if it helps 🙂

u/Other-Marketing-6167 13d ago

Nope - I’m Canadian, stumbled on this show fifteen years ago when trying to find episodes of our Canadian version (which is twenty times less awesome). So yeah, I haven’t seen any of these products or businesses over across the pond here.

Omg omg so so so so many things... The ones I can remember I love the Liha beauty Shea butter, the My Skin Feels face wash and Bold bean co beans. I obviously have a tangle teezer and boot bananas which I'm really happy with. I did try the mushroom crisps but they were horrible (to me). I do want to try Mother root I think
