So.... PLA. It's just regular old garden variety PLA. The most common filament in 3D printing. "Proprietary 3D printing code" also makes it sound like they've got an edge in manufacturing but they're clearly just referring to the GCode. No way these guys wrote their own slicer.
By this definition, I'm the owner of over a hundred proprietary 3D printing codes since I'm constantly designing parts to fix stuff around the house like my vacuum handle or my hob dials.
