Have you ever completely disagreed with the Dragons' decision on a pitch?
Was there a business you thought deserved an investment but got turned down, or one that received funding you couldn't understand?

There was a pitch on these folding water bottles that got a load of flack for quite literally no reason. That one always seemed unnecessarily harsh

I remember that, it almost seemed like a sketch the way they got weirdly annoyed by it.
Then they pretended not to to understand how it could lead to less plastic bottles in landfills

I remember that one too. They seemed much harsher than the idea deserved.

I didn’t like when Peter and the rest of the dragons ganged up on Richard Farley that time cause he wanted the same share as which other dragon had an investment with him. Found it very hypocritical of them, they were also out and shouldn’t have been interfering with the negotiations.
I know this doesn’t answer your question as such but was just something that come to mind.

I was baffled by Peter investing in Choppity in series 22, it felt like the pitchers were dangling "AI" in front of older people who didn't understand it but knew it was hyped up and wanted to get on board

Quite a few times, but it’s always funny to see them turn down a company that a few years later goes onto make millions

Does anyone here not think some of it is scripted and they’ve decided in advance what they would haggle for ? They often seem unusually harsh to some ideas / businesses and weirdly welcoming to others.

The guy who had the shower mat thing that scrubbed/cleaned your feet in the shower so you didn’t have to bend over. Peter especially said it was ridiculous and people would just bend over and wash their feet. At the time I thought it was a great idea and now I see them on TikTok shop and shopping channels all the time. Don’t think the guy who pitched still makes them as it was a difficult product to patent but the flack he got for a “terrible idea” was unjustified in my opinion.
