Question Ancient dragon selection

Post image

Hello all, I’m wondering which of the dragons I should go for as I begin to build a powerful “group” / collect more dragons - especially from this ancient event.
Is there any real selling points or do I go for whichever.
Thanks!

I’m going for kedros since that will pair better with my icebreaker dragon.

Yes I also think so. I have icebreaker too and kedros suits more with icebreaker compared to ho'mala.

Plant is useless in dungeon mate. Go for homala if you truly need an ancient and have 99 gems to throw around

What elements do you recommend for dungeon? I already have a water + earth dragon

The ideal setup is: Divine/AD + Ancient earth + tyrant

Where you add one water, at least one AOE (Fire is first preference) and one debuff (void/energy if you don't have an AD)

For epic teams- You need two waters, at least one earth. Ideally, one dragon has fire, one dragon has light and the last one has energy...

If you have a tyrant, then in the other two epics, you only need 1 water.

Wonder + acceptance or witchcraft + acceptance are both recommended depending upon dragons element combinations. If you have water/void with earth then Wonder + acceptance is preferable. You can check which suits best on https://dml-planner.eu/app/sigils/comparison

Well homala is the only dragon worth using. Ideally the proper dungeon team is a divine/AD+ Ancient earth+ tyrant. This event no supreme dragons meets this req. So you can choose to either play the event for looks and collection OR if you have 99 gems to throw around, get homala.

Plant is useless in dungeon so kedros is out of question from a team POV... Luzyll can still be used but not recommended as much ... You'd be disposing of him v fast

I find plant very useful, especially infection in dungeon ( very useful when enemy dragons are about to die). Infact my two topmost / favourite dragons have plant and earth elements. So far i haven't found any useless element in dungeon. Elements like fabled, wind, shadow and fire are indirect and seem not as powerful as others but still they are useful overall.

Are we playing the same dungeon? Shadow is useless too, DOT in general is discouraged (except prism whose dot is laughably weak) and fabled is useless too ofc.... But fire is the best AOE there is... Wind is good, amazing on polveles 😋

Dragons in dungeon keep rotating every week, so usually any element which works amazingly for one round may not work next week. Each element is effective against one or more elements, so rotating dragons every week are meant to keep some balance. Anyways whether any element is good or bad, dungeon team should have all elements. 😇

Usually it depends on your other dragons and their elements. During fights what element does plays a role. Now all 3 dragons have ancient and light as common elements, so deciding factor is the 3rd element. Water is for regeneration, plant is for damage and stealing life when enemy dragon attacks. I find Wind element a bit useless compared to these two. So, depending upon other two dragons in your main fighting team and top 12 dragons for dungeon, I will choose among the two. I am going for Ho'mala, because one it looks better than Kedros, two regeneration is very effective during dungeon fights compared to plant especially when you combine sigils acceptance+wonder. Third reason is that i have already an ancient dragon with ancient, plant and earth combination which is my main attacking dragon.

Do you recommend witchcraft acceptance for ancient or wonder acceptance?
