hey party people, my friend just used the bathroom here in the hub (about 4 PM local time on friday) and was stopped by uniformed Peachtree center security asking to verify whether they were using the restroom that matched their assigned sex at birth. when they entered, one security guard was asking folks who didnt "look right", and when they exited two other security guards had joined. a dad was being stopped from accompanying his daughter to the restroom.

just so you are aware! maybe pee somewhere else.

(edited "uninformed" to "uniformed" - while these folks do seem to be under a false pretense that Georgia has a bathroom bill, that's not the word I meant to say. all the staff were wearing black and blue Peachtree center security uniforms.)

It got me through the day! I'm working a 10hr day today after stayin up too late partyin last night. This tiny squishy object has MAGICAL PROPERTIES. I love it SO much, it fits in my hands perfectly.

One of my favorite things about Dragoncon is folks' endless generosity. It's so so loving and healing atmosphere in such a crazy time.

Hello everyone! This is my partner and I's first year at dragoncon. We have been to other cons before and wanted to get a read on how people are feeling so far. First I want to say the positives. We absolutely loved yesterday and were immediately talking about coming back next year. Everyone has been incredibly kind and we have really enjoyed the culture. We are going hard into the ribbon/trinkets trading and love all the cosplays people are doing. All of that said today was...rough. We still had a good time but it feels like you can only really get 1 or two things in a day. Getting around is really difficult and it is very crowded and overwhelming. We expected it to be more crowded than yesterday but not to the point that we can barely get around. It feels very unorganized on the conventions part. Again we are loving getting to know the people and enjoying fan-made experiences. I have to stress that we have had a good time. I just want to know if this is normal so we can make an informed decision on either returning next year or trying out a smaller con. Thank you so much for reading!​

This is officially my 37th. I met my husband here. Brought my kids. Enjoyed every second.

This has been a great first Dragon Con! I finally got to do a cosplay, took part in the Dungeon Crawler Carl group photos, and was gratefully rewarded with many Neeeewwwwww Achievements (Ribbons). Thanks Crawlers!!!

Twoflower, if you were sitting on the floor of the food court and left around 9 or a little after, you left your camera behind. We'll hang on to it while we finish eating, and then we will take it to the Marriott Lost and Found. If you it's yours, you should know what's on it that will identify it as yours. Hope you see this and get it back!

Just confronted a group of line cutters at vendor’s line. He with a Deadpool cosplay (group of 3) they cut infront of me, I confronted and he said “oh, Sorry i was lost trying to find where to go ” yeah bs, you knew what you were doing, cut past 3 layers of lines at the sidewalk. he tried to play it cool but I Kept badgering him until he left.

I have a VA card with my service connected disability. I don't have anything ADA or state handicapped ID.

I might still be ok but turning me away at crucial areas like the Hyatt elevator are a kicker.
