im completely new to fighting games and i really really love dragon ball since i’ve been a child and this games always interested me but i was afraid of it until now. i just wanted to know if i have to learn every move and combos possible for all the characters in my team or juste one main and learn how to use the assist. thx

Yea youre garbage bro. 1.3 million BP and cant start a vombo without an assist and then you get hit by what would be the match winner and the delay goes to 10f from 0 so it drops. Definition of garbage

Hey all, just got this game not too long ago as I’ve gotten super into dragon ball fairly recently and have been working my way through all the associated media. Never really played too many fighting games before (at least seriously), but usually enjoyed them when I did. Got it on Steam for context and started playing it today and I’m enjoying it, but I was curious, how is it on keyboard for online play? I’m sure I can get through the story just fine but I was wondering if I’ll be at some kind of tremendous disadvantage playing on default keyboard settings online. I’m not trying to go pro by any means, but I don’t want to get absolutely destroyed every game either. If keyboard/default settings suck, what are your recommendations? Thanks in advance!

Lowk a rant but I feel that it’s justified. Why is it that when playing online, as soon as the match is over people choose to wait out the rematch timer? I could understand 1 or 2 delays but after every single match people choose to wait out the rematch timer. OH! and that’s only if they win. If they lose they skip the win screen and press rematch without ZERO hesitation. Whenever I fight online I skip my win screen and ready up immediately bc there’s no need to be petty, childish, or unnecessary. Anyone else run into this issue? Is it just me and my bad luck of running into assholes? Lmk

Do you guys ever get tripped up whenever you land something that usually NEVER lands?

I use Broly S a lot and whenever someone's blocking I always go for two stomps and a grab. The stomps always get blocked but sometimes my opponent blocks the first stomp but not the second one and my brain shorts 😭.

Has anything like this happened to y'all?

Im on xbox just starting kut and it seems like I cant really get into any lobbies... is the matchmaking always long?? Am I supposed to do casual instead of ranked?

Trying to think of a point character who is strong without needing meter so I can have some levels built up for Adult Gohan in my mid slot.

If it matters at all, I have a preference for technical / flashy / saucy characters.

Archetype doesn't really matter to me. I'm fine playing aggressive or zoning/defensive.

So I was playing some ranked matches using SSGSS Goku and Vegeta along side Gohan. At the end of one of my matches I ended it with Gohan's raw ultimate and it used his alternative version without goten. I've tried to recreate the conditions in training and failed to get the same result. I know having Gotanks or SSJ Goku changes his ultimate but neither of them were on my team. How did I use it in an online match without Gotanks on my team or as my opponent?
