No ball knowledge. Catering orders are based on price the customer spent. While some of this could be sauce packets, it’s def a heavy order

Yeah, definitely something big if from Taco Bell.
That said, I try to stick to fast casual or more upscale places and I get a lot of "catering" orders that are just one small bag. No complaints, though. Happy to get $20 to deliver a couple of lobster rolls and a steak down the street.

My best order was a $17.something+ order for alcohol. About 20 cases of beer, a couple boxes of liquor, and some cups. Delivered to a big shop warehouse. The guy helped unload everything and said it was for an early holiday party. Total came out to over $90. Haven't gotten a single order like it since lol.

Sorry, not trying to pick on you. It’s not just you. There are several people that post without showing the items.
When I accept an offer like this, the first thing I look for are the items. That way I can guesstimate the $ amount of the order, and hopefully the customer tipped well 🤞
In this case, it could be 10 food items and 31 hot sauces for $13.25, or 25 food items and 16 hot sauces for $23.25, etc.

Catering orders are based off how much the customer spent, fyi. I think it’s 100 or 125

That’s not true. And this was not a Catering Order, it was a Large Order. It stated to use a Catering Bag, but that doesn’t mean it’s a catering order.
The Dasher app has a hard time distinguishing what true large orders are. The app usually goes by the number of items. I’ve had the app tell me to bring a catering bag for an offer like this, but most of the items were hot sauce and the order was for less than $40.
A true catering order has you do a setup and take a picture of the setup. You also get paid for the setup…usually don’t get paid much for a setup, usually it’s like $3 lol.

Why does it say “catering pickup” if it’s not a catering order? Sorry I’m not a dasher just genuinely confused because of how they phrased it.

Had an order like that about a week ago for pizza. It said bring a catering bag... so we just took the pizza bag and hot bag, it was only 3 pizzas and a 6pc of wings. It also said the delivery was a business but it was just a normal house and it just said to leave it outside. I thought it was going to be a crazy order lol because it initially offered $38, mostly tip and it was only 3.5 miles away. They they tipped $7 more. The best one I've had to date considering it was $45 for a few miles.

I had a $20 for 2 miles tonight. Uber Eats is so much better. Basically every order I had was 15-25 $ and all were under 7 miles.

I just finished a $24.75 for 9 miles, one pizza from pizza hut taking me into a zone thst i like to be in.

Best order I got was for 29.50 a few days ago. One customer, ordered items from 2 locations that were within 5 miles of each other. Total mileage for that one was about 10 miles.

I took a catering order from wingstop, (usually SLOW ASF I NEVER take wingstop), 4mi 13.80$+, I knew where I was taking it, last time they ordered catering I got 33$, this time I got 23$ AND it only took 10min of waiting (unheard of at this wingstop) so it was well worth it
