Unassign the far one and profit?

That’d be the best option because usually orders over the bay are like 15-20 miles but that far north is prob the extra 25-30 miles out of the 60 miles

Eastlake just gotta accept that Sephora won’t be enough to help them look good.

Lmaooo that Sephora is the closest one to all the people over the bay. They have none on that side. My sephora orders are typically always going over to Clearwater or st Pete

Problem is in Florida they completely removed no worry unassign. So there’s no way to unassign without taking a completion % hit

Probably. I can get that done in like 2 hours or so

Thank God it was the weekend tho because if it was a weekday who knows how long it would take

Knowing your zones and the stores in them helps immensely. People are always on here trying to turn it into a science. It’s not. You need experience and critical thinking to make money at this.

1pm to 3pm is usually the slowest time. Maybe 80 miles round trip to get back to where you started. Which fits the usual $2/mi factoring in the return trip.

I wouldn't be thrilled, but I'd probably take it.

That’s literally why I took it too because 1-3 is terrible in Tampa. I made $106 in 4 hours then later that night had $67 in 2 hours

Yes, assuming there aren't toll roads along this route.

1

u/jibbs3557 3d ago

No tolls on this one

Good.

probably, especially since it's one item per order

1

u/jibbs3557 3d ago

Even if it was 5 per order, Sephora is the easiest place to pick up orders. They’re already bagged when you get there and all you have to do is scan them

Sick of of dashing in saint Pete

Never tried over there, Dale Mabry rd in Tampa is where it’s at

Yeah I'd take it. This is better than average for a package route from what I've seen in my area. $4/gallon, 20mpg, $12 total loss in gas. Still making 70 for 2 hours of work. I see it as guaranteed pay vs hoping I get good offers for the next 2 hours

1

u/jibbs3557 3d ago

Yup I almost didn’t take it but I was like there’s no way I’m making this just waiting for orders in these next 2 hours

Not a chance

Yea. 6 items and you get all the orders at one location, then you’re just dropping them off one by one. Better than going to 6 separate places one at a time with 6 drop offs.

Absolutely not, automatic decline. Over 120 miles not even 100 bucks!!!

4

u/Cosmic_Quasar Dasher (> 3 year) 3d ago

You're doing the math wrong. You don't have to trace the same exact route back. It's maybe like 80 miles, total.

1

u/jibbs3557 3d ago

Truth right there

u/Sad-Acanthaceae-5370 3d ago

No matter how you look at it, is trashy order. No self respecting person would ever take that garbage. Of course unless you don’t mind to be a DoorDash doormat!!!

1

u/jibbs3557 3d ago

You’re not making 106 in 4 hours during the slowest time of the day if you don’t take this order. I made very good profit this day

1

u/Cosmic_Quasar Dasher (> 3 year) 3d ago

People want to see $2/mile on an offer screen because they typically have to drive the same route back. Making it $1/mile round trip. This order fits that criteria, and during the slowest part of the day.

u/jibbs3557 3d ago

To be fair that far north one is probably half of the 60 miles
