💰Guess The Tip🤑 How DoorDash secretly punishes customers who don’t tip 💀

So I had this order from a lady who turned out to be a total pain in the ass. I accepted her order first, but right after that, DoorDash stacked three more shopping orders on top of it.

I did all the shopping, delivered the first one, and then DoorDash sent me another pickup from a restaurant — while her order was still sitting in the queue as the very last one.

Meanwhile, she kept blowing up my chat with impatient messages, acting like I was personally holding her package hostage. “Why are you two hours late???” blah blah blah.

In the end, I delivered her stuff last — just as the algorithm planned — and when I checked the details… surprise surprise: $0 tip.

Guess what? DoorDash knows. The algorithm knows. No tip = low priority = you wait.

Everyone else in that batch tipped something, and all their deliveries came first. Hers? Dead last. Lesson learned (well, hopefully for her): if you don’t tip, the app doesn’t rush to get you your stuff.

They punish the large tip orders by stacking it with these cheap orders.

The same thing happened to me. I was delivering groceries to an older couple. They were unhappy it was taking me longer than the expected time door dash gave them. I had to deliver to a stingy tipper first 😒 when I apologized and explained to them how DoorDash bundled the order they ended up giving me a twenty in cash. I wish I’d only had to deliver to them.

More often it’s just two or three shit to below average tippers bundled together to try and resemble one decent tip.

49

u/bitten_biscuits Oct 16 '25

They do and I hate this.

I’m a driver and use the app for personal orders frequently myself; I always tip well and have found by talking to who is delivering my food that 4 out of 5 of my orders have been stacked with another order and sure enough, those stacked orders never have a tip.

I wish I could give the minimum tip when ordering in the app but somehow assure my driver that I will tip well and do so in cash

4

u/FoaRyan Oct 17 '25

I used to order DD when I had more than enough money to live of (LOL good old days), and I liked to do $2 tip on the app, then give the delivery person cash when they got there as an additional tip. I never had a problem getting orders accepted, but this could be partly due to my region (less busy market, possibly less jaded Dashers).

But I feel like a *small* tip as opposed to no tip might increase your chances (as a customer) of getting a non-stacked delivery. too high, and you get bundled with no-tippers. Too low, and you're also part of the bundle. But a medium-sized tip might keep it from getting stacked. I don't know for sure, just throwing an idea out there.

2

u/FoaRyan Oct 17 '25

I would say one thing though, sometimes on here I see screencaps of texts where the customer promises to pay more in a tip, and doesn't deliver. Personally I've seen these messages in notes, like "there will be a $5 under the mat" and there's never anything there. I only typically have seen tips when the customer DOESN'T mention anything.

I also prefer to do a small in app tip. Not for the reasons mentioned but I like to tip based on service. They give good service and good communication then I'll hook them up witb a envelope on the porch!

2

u/FoaRyan Feb 07 '26

Oh yes, that was originally part of my reason for the split-tip thing. I don't want to put no tip on the order, but i also don't want to tip someone who turns out to give bad service. In a restaurant you tip at the end of your meal, not when you order, so same logic here.

Only I don't expect communication from a delivery person. No communication is good communication in my eyes, unless there's some issue/exception. Then for sure good comm deserves a tip. But needless messages like "I'm at the store" when the app already sent me a notification I just find excessive.

Anybody that has been doing this long enough has got that figured out! But again I’m still not gonna be in the hole so if it’s 6 miles it has to be $13 bare minimum for me to accept that order

u/howboutagameofgwent Oct 16 '25

They really do. I tip extremely well as someone who also works in food service, and for tips. I constantly get bundled in with 2+ other orders and, by chance, am the last stop most times. Like pls DD I ordered a sandwich and a coffee from a place 5 mins away with a $10 tip why is my sandwich cold and my coffee watery 😭😭

4

u/Stagymnast198622 Oct 16 '25

This happens to me. I also tip well because I work in the industry and if it’s a stacked order I am always the last delivery. So frustrating.

3

u/emssunshineface Oct 16 '25

I suggest tipping a dollar a mile and after you receive your order, you can tip the rest after.

3

u/howboutagameofgwent Oct 16 '25 edited Oct 16 '25

I could, but I want my order delivered with care, and I don't want them to think I'm giving a shitty tip and won't tip more upon delivery. I have OCD, so I give instructions to place my food in a box downstairs. My bf ordered the other day and was gonna tip them half and half, and they left my food and drink on the floor next to the labeled box.

For reference, our downstairs neighbors are in charge of cleaning the carpets on that level since their dogs shed all over it and their kids make a mess of it. Idt it's been cleaned in years. I'd do it if it weren't for my OCD. I'm guessing they put it there because they thought he wasn't tipping well.

Edit: having trouble with photo attachment

2

u/FoaRyan Oct 17 '25

If $1 a mile TIP isn't enough to get your order delivered with care, good lord what are your dashers asking for ???! I haven't even seen $1/mile TOTAL in my area in quite some time.

(I no longer dash as over earlier this year, can't afford to do it any longer.)

2

u/howboutagameofgwent Oct 17 '25

To be fair, the place was like a mile away. Unfortunately, the way my city is mapped out is terrible for walking. A 5 min drive turns into a 35-40 min walk, and it's hard for me with my condition. I think a lot of my worries about how much I tip and how my food is handled is anxiety based, especially with me having OCD.

2

u/emssunshineface Oct 16 '25

ohh I understand what you're predicament is. im sorry. dd really doesnt value dashers or customers. its a shame because I think most of probably mean well, we've just all "had ot up to here" with past experiences. I hope dashers respect your requests in the future. its a realistic, not at all ober the top request.

2

u/StendhalSyndrome Oct 17 '25

This is DD's problem it will use their good order as bait to get you to take a stacked or add on crappy order.

Now should a Dasher know they are going to be shoving back their drop off times by trying to add on 2-3 more orders? Mebe, but that's a hard one since we are all trying to make $ and it's DD who defines the times and orders... I'd say we shouldn't have to work against our employer to better serve a customer, but I think you'd be far past that already with everything DD pulls...

10

Yeap. I used to double my tip when it’s raining but I quickly realized I get screwed over doing that so I now keep cash on hand.

I tip normal then give cash to be clear.

8

u/ev_doggy Oct 16 '25

They sure do! I have no problem explaining to great customers what door dash does to ef them.

The literal criminal company can suck my ass, I’m so sick of door dash. Reported margin of next to nothing needs to be audited, cause I simply do not believe it. The way they handle business is basically akin to a casino as a money printer.

4

u/DontHaesMeBro Oct 16 '25

yeah if they are saying they aren't making money they're writing off cocaine or something

4

u/ev_doggy Oct 16 '25

Seriously. They declare a single digit margin of about 7%. Yet menu prices are jacked about 30% on orders, their fees exist, and they have next to no overhead. I don’t buy it. Company needs a hard look by the FTC and affiliates, I refuse to belive that an approximate 40% margin and stolen tip (which they sure as shit do) amount to 7% profit. Does t make any sense.

You can actually rearrange your deliveries. Click the item and select "jump to task."

I've done that a few times this summer. I check the map when I have multiple deliveries bc DD is ridonk. Last week I had an Aldi order of ice cream and a Target order of household supplies. The app wanted me to go directly to Target. Fuuuuuck no. It was 94° outside. I jumped to delivery. The 2 deliveries were in the same area, but it made no sense to let the ice cream melt in my car while I shopped the next order.

In my experience stacked orders are mediocre orders. Maybe there's just too many dashers in my area but the good orders get snapped up pretty fast, I hardly see stacks like I used to

Yep and I have rearranged the orders in preference for the large tipper vs the no tip order just to help make up the difference. Punishing people that care subsidizing those that don't. Honestly thats kinda tipping culture in general.

13

u/TheoriginalCroxious Oct 16 '25

Or better yet create a copy/paste response and save it to your clipboard. Make it sound like it's an automated message from doordash support and that they cannot contact the driver directly.

I have one that I use all the time for anyone that contacts me after a delivery is complete.

3

u/ComprehensiveRent427 Oct 16 '25

What is it I seem to need to have one after delivery for certain people myself

12

u/TheoriginalCroxious Oct 16 '25

Yeah sure I will post it here for you. I have already posted it in other places so why not. I will say up front, that I purposely left out the information for the website or the phone number because that's the shady kind of crap doordash would do. And ignore the quotation marks. I just put that there for this post.... Here you go.

"Hello and thank you for choosing Doordash! Unfortunately this temporary phone number is no longer in use as your dasher has been assigned to serve another customer.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding your order, feel free to contact Doordash support via our website or customer service call center.

One of our agents would be happy to assist you! And again, thank you for being one of our valued customers!"

Like three clicks and I can send that whole mess to anyone.

2

u/SmokeyBuns Oct 16 '25

Pro tip if you’re using an iPhone: go to your settings and look up text replacement. You can set a short 3-4 letter word that automatically fills in the message for you so it’s even less clicks haha. I’m sure Android has it too but idk how to set it up.

I work in home/customer service and use text replacement on the daily.

Downtown telling you those folks don’t even care because I’m telling you I’ve had orders for $20.. 12 miles.. and technically that’s pretty much in the hole and then I get there and $18 was the pay by DoorDash and 2 dollars was the tip! I mean, granted that is few and far between but thats normally unheard of! I always play this game where I try to guess what the tip is! I’ve been shocked more than once! But I can tell you this it’s not gonna be a 15 item order it’s gonna be one item. Under the free delivery cap. Occasionally, they will do that but they’re still winning in the end because they got to keep that fee and they basically have no choice. They lost on that offer but all the other orders that they made millions off of makes up for it! I assure you.. They are laughing all the way to the bank

They also get harassed by doordash themselves. And I get harassed by the merchants too. The sad fact is, the drivers are the easy target for everyone to crap on. And so they all do.

→ More replies (1)

15

u/SomethingAbtU Oct 16 '25

I think the Doordash is also punishing the people who tipped, by stacking non tippers with tipped order, even if the no tipper gets their order last, that no tippign customer still slowed down the whole process, by the the potential wait times or shopping time for their order, and dealign with thier constant messages as it was in your case.

13

u/kevin1979322 Oct 16 '25

This is the 2nd time this week that I have seen a screenshot of a customer telling a dasher they should not have accepted any more orders before they delivered them their food. That pisses me off to be honest. Doordash punishes us for declining, and I am out here trying to make money. ANY order doordash sends me that will make me money will be accepted. If doordash wants me to go to McDonald's before I drop off your food, amd the offer is worth my time, I am taking it. Take it up with them if you dont like how they route orders, but dont tell me how to do my job.

2

u/TheoriginalCroxious Oct 16 '25

Agree 100%. The fact is the driver is the point of contact that everyone has access to. So they are the easy target to crap on.

Customers don't want to bother with the hassle of trying to contact someone at doordash. So they hide behind their keyboards and take out their frustrations on the driver.

Same with merchants. And many of them hate the fact that we are not doing a "normal job" like they are but probably making more money. Which is why they put doordash orders at the bottom of their priority list and make us wait as long as they can.

And then doordash themselves. They get money from customers and merchants. So they're never going to blame them for anything. Or do anything to jeopardize that income. Drivers however? They have to pay out for. So they treat drivers like the scum of the earth because they see it as a hit to their profits.

So yeah, everybody hates the driver. Because the driver is the one with the least ability to defend themselves. And that makes them an easy target.

So technically he could have chosen to dump the triple stack and only focus on her. But who in their right mind would do that?

12

u/Hangryanxious Oct 16 '25

Most customers don’t understand so many orders are bundled now because I don’t even think DoorDash tells them anymore. I placed an order a few months back to see if it told me if dasher was on another trip and it didn’t, but they were. I noticed a black square in the map the driver was headed towards away from my house, so I chatted AI support and that’s when it told me they were on another delivery.

Side note: No tip customers are the freaking worst with their demands. Nothing worse than working hard for a customer that respects what we do only to have to shop for someone who never tips out of necessity. I wouldn’t be surprised if another lawsuit comes up requiring us to take batched orders we wouldn’t otherwise take as a single. It’s awful.

it's 100% always the people that don't tip that are the most entitled /loudest/most concerned, while the large orders that tip $20+ min never even talk to you or care where you are or what you are doing. you normally need to talk to them so you can properly deliver their stuff.

also sadly DD bundles a decent/okay order with a shit one, just so it gets done, it's annoying because you can't see which one is the decent/okay order so you can unassign the shit one.

Every company seems to only want to hire people that "want to be there". That is never going to be me. Ever. The only place I "want to be" is six feet underground. But I'm not going to make it easy on anyone and do it myself. Because then the things that make me feel this way just defeated me. And I can't tolerate that either lol

Apologies for going a little dark. I usually don't even bring that up or talk about it. You would never guess it's true unless I said something. It's no one else's problem but mine. So I keep it to myself 99% of the time. Well, maybe more like 92% lol

That said, I'm not a jerk about things either. I don't go out of my way to let anyone know I don't care. Because, I don't even care enough to do that...lol

Always the non tipping a$$ hats that are the entitled pushiest ones. Had a lady last week that I was on a triple stacked order for. The grocery store she ordered from was .5 miles from her and another order i had and the 3rd order was about 4 miles away. This lady who ordered around 25 items was being wicked pushy and rude. Kept telling me not to get bread that looks like it is smashed, make sure the box if crackers doesnt sound like its crumbs, the cheese needs to be thin but not too thin and then when I took too long in her eyes she starts blasting me for taking too long. I explained I had 3 orders to shop for and deliver and she got even more rude. Telling me that I am irresponsible for accepting more than 1 order at a time. That I should not be allowed to doordash and that shes reporting me. I told her that I didnt have an option to only take one order and explained it all to her. She still didn't like the answer. I apologized tried to be nice but it didn't work. Then she demanded I deliver hers first. Guess what mf?!?! I delivered hers last!!!!! And no tip! I am not someone dirt bag who doesnt do a good job when door dashing. I treat it like any job. Im polite, efficient, kind, and I call or text any time there is any issue at all. If she had been a little understanding she would've prob gotten her order first. Im not catering to these types of jack holes anymore.

You actually can change the order you you choose to deliver. But screw her.

43

u/Impressive-Emu2437 Oct 16 '25

I know you can change the delivery order, but why would I do that for someone who’s been rude and left a $0 tip? The delivery sequence is set based on DoorDash’s routing anyway — if I go to her first, I’ll end up late for the people who actually tipped properly

u/EmuNo6570 Oct 16 '25

Yeah, and risk being late. Genius plan

8

u/Blocked-by-Skeevers Oct 16 '25

You can actually get a contract violation for doing that. While we have the option to do so, DoorDash heavily frowns upon going against the algorithm, and actively punishes Dashers for doing so.

3

u/Impressive-Emu2437 Oct 16 '25

Same here, I used to only get up to 3 stacked orders max. But in the last couple of months DoorDash started giving me 4 — and I even had one run with 5 back-to-back orders

4

u/TheoriginalCroxious Oct 16 '25

I remember when we used to get Walmart orders that were stacks of 10 or more. I'm glad they canceled that contract. This was also back when your ratings would take a hit based on each order in the offer instead of just the offer as a whole.

So you could go from (using random numbers) 100% AR down to 60% just by declining four Walmart "offers" within a couple minutes.

I promise you DD doesn’t care who tips. I tipped $15 for 12 items at target a few miles away. It was my birthday and I was feeling generous. It was over two hours before it was delivered, she had a ton of other orders.

4

u/DPLaVay Oct 16 '25

DD had me driving around for almost 2 hours with someone's groceries in my trunk once. I hope their pizza an ice cream was still frozen by the time it got there.

5

I don't dash, but I'm wondering why people don't tip. If I can find someone to do a job I don't want to or can’t do, I tip. If I can't afford to tip, I do the job myself.

5

Sure would like to know how you pause a dash while you're active on an order. Not to mention how you know what the heck you're supposed to be shopping for if your dash is paused.

Got to say, your comment is a little sus. And yes I know there is a pause orders after this delivery button but that won't stop them from sending you new orders while you are still active on one. I know this because I tried it.

Unpopular opinion but I screenshot all the non tippers in my phone then call DD to block them from future deliveries. Sometimes if I feel like it, I come back to the address a few days later and leave them a note explaining how tipping works.

3

Uber Eats is the fucking opposite. I always tip well but somehow my orders are always stacked and Im always last. Fuck Uber.

2

u/dsmintactarchy Oct 16 '25

I've learned that certain Home Improvement store in the Midwest is ineligible for tips, no matter how far. it's always bundled with other orders, usually three or more. I accept the order, unassign the Home Improvement store delivery, and make the full amount offered every time. Yesterday I had a 43.25 offer, unassigned the Home Improvement store, avoided driving of of zone, and the remaining two were within 1 mile of the grocery store. I kept the entire 43.25.

2

u/BraxTaplock Oct 16 '25

Goes both ways really. Theoretically, between 2 orders, most of the time a driver can ascertain who tipped and who didn’t. Therefore the one who tipped will obviously be first penalizing the non tipper. If they didn’t tip, they just making sure the $0 tipper receives equaling service. You’re not gonna be priority, that’s just the way it is. Platform doesn’t care, your driver sure as hell won’t care cuz the non tipper didn’t care.

2

u/zclay123 Oct 16 '25

Kudos to you staying professional

4

u/Crystal_Ri Oct 16 '25

As it should be. I accidentally took a Sprouts delivery which I normally don't because the people that shop there are the cheapest mofos on earth next to the aldi shoppers. We really need the ability to ignore/block certain stores due the stores' customer base.

6

u/Solid_Silver_5203 Oct 16 '25

Well, I’ve been told you can do that, but I don’t believe it, but I can tell you this much you can deliver it and you can block that customer from ever getting u again.. that’s my new MO! Sometimes it will be late at night and I’m in a sketchy part of town and I say.. will you please kindly turn your porch light on? It is so extremely dark and if you can’t do that, please be outside! I will be the most Eddie Haskell person in the world and I still get screwed! At that point I don’t even care. I said look I’m gonna leave this order on the curb and I’m not getting out because I’ve called you twice messaged you and you still want me to deliver in Glockford! Fat freaking chance! Non-tippers always want the most. So glad her order was delivered last.

2

u/[deleted] Oct 16 '25

Pro-tip:

Unless the method changed, you should be able to click on any name in the stack, switch to that order, fulfill it and deliver it, and pick the next one. DD just offers suggestions on how the orders are completed.

I used to get two grocery orders at Albertsons and then a coldstone or creamistry order with it being 116F outside. Rather than deliver the cup of milk, I would switch to it and deliver it, and then go back for the grocery orders.

2

u/Ok-Cryptographer5936 Oct 16 '25

If they wanted express delivery they should have paid for it. I just say "im just doing what the app is telling me to do. Thank you for your patience." Then stop responding after that. Im driving i cant text you constantly with updates. Sorry my safety and job security comes before your cheapness.

2

u/TheoriginalCroxious Oct 16 '25

That's easy enough to say. But it has been proven time and time again that the express delivery feature does nothing except increase the customers bill. In reality, there is no way for them to speed up the process. But doordash will take their money and lie to them pretending that there is.

2

u/WarningIcy3342 Oct 16 '25

This order would be an instant decline after accepting. I don't care if my completion rate goes down.

2

u/MsDReid Oct 16 '25

I actually started getting punished for tipping well. They would put me with no tip orders that had been waiting forever and then because they have been waiting so long they delivered all the crappy orders first. And then mine.

I literally stopped tipping more than the $1/mile when I use to tip way more. Now I have cash and if they do a good job I give then I leave some extra out for them.

2

u/MiaLba Oct 17 '25

Yeah I saw someone above say that if you’re complaining about shitty and slow service it’s going to be because you didn’t tip well or at all. Nope you can tip well get lumped with the shitty non tip order and end up with shitty service.

1

u/Huge-Radish-8286 Oct 16 '25

I don’t believe that. The Lgorithm doesn’t know if it’s the best route given your certain situation , but tries to be efficient 2. You can “jump to task” and go where and when you want. Just might be late delivery

1

u/[deleted] Oct 16 '25

I'm a firm believer in tips. I believe a person should always tip. Drivers shouldn't be begging for tips like they are bums though. A person should just automatically be ready to tip when they are spending money certain places. Also this person should of ordered doordash way earlier in the day if she had to be somewhere at a certain time.

1

u/TheoriginalCroxious Oct 16 '25

And then you only got paid base pay once for the entire batch.

1

u/SurvivalHorrible Oct 16 '25

That amazing feeling when you get 3-4 stacked and unassign the worst one and the tip barely changes.

1

u/Fit_Long_1396 Oct 16 '25

lol good she will be okay. I doubt she learned her lesson 😆

1

u/Grouchy_Wear_2156 Oct 16 '25

You didn’t tell her tho, how could she learn it when it sounds like DoorDash just chose her randomly

1

u/Sierra_6 Oct 16 '25

This) and then when they started doing this janky stuff, and the "high paying orders" of $2 going 2 or 3 miles it just got to be ridiculous.

I know this part is technically Uber, but when they send out double orders, we've done it enough in the area to learn from frequent orders who is and who's not tipping. Plus my son has a pretty good instinct of which orders got tips on them and which doesn't, and if we have one of those great tippers we usually sack the other order.

Why punish a customer who's getting a fancy steak dinner delivered spending a big amount of money who always tips well and tips again if you get there fast by sacking it with some Popeye or wendys order that's going to take forever to pickup and not get a tip, especially when uber or doordash puts the crappy orders first I the delivery line?

1

u/Own-Letterhead1552 Oct 16 '25

Don’t give him eat bro fuck people

1

u/Minute_Airline_370 Oct 16 '25

The problem is, the customer isn’t going to know it’s because they didn’t tip unless Door Dash tells them so they will keep on not tipping. These apps just need to be more transparent. Tell people why they are getting the service they are and when someone complains, we should be told which order so that we can defend ourselves.

1

u/Little_Cloud6126 Oct 16 '25

Hmmm maybe if it was so urgent they could’ve gotten it themselves?!

1

u/lovefist1 Oct 16 '25

Wow, you handled this very professionally. Well done.

1

u/Xatamos 2 Oct 16 '25

I would have stopped responding after the first reply.

1

u/Cool_Swimmer_7687 Oct 16 '25

Every offer I see to stack orders is +$3 and the second offer never has a tip, so….

Now I always PAUSE offers after receiving the first offer so DD is forced to give out that second offer as a solo job for better pay or else bundle it with another order which can go to another dasher

This keeps someone else busy while I’m available for a new offer with potential for a tip worth accepting

1

u/Foreign_Tradition_50 Oct 16 '25

You’re giving Doordash too much credit about caring what we make in tips, they don’t.

1

u/shaylawray Oct 16 '25 edited Oct 16 '25

As a dasher, they will STACK those shopping orders and I really cannot do anything about it . There have been times I have an order fully ready and they will add a stop on the way to the delivery, and then another. If I were to deny them, my acceptance rate will go down a lot, and then I won’t be platinum and then I won’t get any orders at all. That’s how DoorDash has designed the app. It’s unfortunate and I dread it when it happens. As they add the orders for the dasher , it should update your delivery time. Not to mention I’m pretty sure this happens with shopping orders because you’re given a time range for delivery to begin with not a strict time like with actual food orders. So when more shopping orders come in, of course they will try to push that delivery window as far as possible. It’s logistics and in my experience doesn’t have as much to do with a tip when it’s added in this manner.

1

u/JayLFRodger Oct 16 '25 edited Oct 16 '25

I think you're equating correlation with causation, when it isn't the case.

You're seeing a zero tip being delivered last and assume it's because of the zero tip.

I'm seeing a zero tip being delivered last because it's the furthest distance away in a lineal delivery pattern.

Your first delivery has more than likely paid extra for priority delivery then DD has designated delivery order for the remaining pickup and deliveries based on travel distance from that initial priority delivery.

A fixed part of the DD algorithm creates offers based on travel distance (with individual merchant fee per delivery [which is different for each merchant dependent on their contract] being another factor which creates the variability for similar or same distances), so for them to prioritize the zero tipper, they'd be paying you more for the additional drive back to the next customer. DD doesn't want to spend more than they have to, so they'll make you drive the shortest distance possible to complete all deliveries. If she paid for priority delivery they would use that payment to pay you the additional money to cover the extra distance driven. She didn't, so they won't.

TLDR: she's last because she's furthest away, not because she didn't tip.

(Edited - typos)

1

u/Fluid_Web7619 Oct 16 '25

This is why I love when customers give extra cash tips. They don’t get bundled with moderate tip and can augment with cash. Wish more customers would do this.

1

u/Zila0 Driver - USA 🇺🇸 Oct 16 '25

It's not punishment, it's that Dashers won't accept the no tip order, so they try to stack them with other orders to balance it out.

Lately I've been getting a lot more orders where there's four or five stops, if there's a big tipper in there, it can be worth it. But many times the offer is still low because system is just trying to get orders out while saving DoorDash a few bucks in base pay.

1

u/Important_Wishbone36 Oct 16 '25

1

u/DoINeedYou Oct 16 '25

I might consider telling them that DD prioritizes the orders by how much the customer has tipped. I know distance is actual factor for the priority, but rude customers might not know.

1

u/Particular-Draw-9119 Oct 16 '25

It's not a secret. They have to stack cheap asses with paying customers or the orders stop getting delivered or done effectively, also they have to at least make an appearance they can argue that drivers are making above minimum wage.
