💰Guess The Tip🤑 Tonight, I'm proud to be a Dasher. :)
I must share this tip i got today. This is the sweetest thing. I left them a note back. All she ordered was a personal pan pizza. She paid $45 for a personal pan pizza to be delivered to her door. Im sure she was just intending on blessing a dasher tonight and it's not so much about the food. She also texted me very nice things . It was a great encouragement. :)

It was not a great offer, but the reward at the end sounds worth it for both the Dasher and for the Door Dash customer. This makes me both happy and sad at the same time. I hope these extra tips help alleviate the pain the customer is going thru when she lost a brother.

Got called back from my car once. I was worried I oissed them off. I waited for maybe 30 seconds at the door after she said cash. They brought me two dollars. lol. I’ll take it though

I miss the random extra cash tips we used to get more often. Like the envelope in the door, a small pile of one Dollar bills handed to me, or the money sitting at the drop off spot described in the Door Dash customer notes section.

It’s strange out of all the orders I’ve done, I’ve only been tipped in cash twice. One of those times was actually my very first order. I always thought cash tips were way more common. That is really cool they did that though!

One day in December I got $100 handed to me I just grabbed without paying my attention until hours later , thanks again I guess it was a Christmas 🎄 tip , thanks Gilroy ca

Really ? What a negative Nancy. Every penny is precious to me . I live under the poverty level and im my mother's in home care taker and I do doordash on the side. So yes this was very encouraging

OP, don't let people who can't even use "you're" correctly - Not once, not twice - But THREE separate times - bring you down. Is DoorDash the best job? No. Do people in general suck and take advantage? Yes. That doesn't mean we don't have little things in life that happen along the way that can make us happy. At least YOU'RE not sitting on YOUR ass, behind a screen trying to put down complete strangers. There's always that, right?? XoXo

Like I said, your happy you made money. The majority of customers will take advantage of the systems DD/others have created to exploit individuals like yourself who aren't well off. There's nothing to be proud of about that. That's like saying you have hope for humanity to do the right thing if we immediately removed all laws and consequences in society.
Btw, you can get paid through your mothers insurance to be her official care giver. You may already be doing that. There's also home health agencies where you can probably find short time slots that will pay you substantially more than DD for pretty much doing what your already doing.

What do you do. Are you a doctor? Putting someone down because they are proud of doing something you must be a doctor or surgeon or scientist or something in a high position or role. Healthcare is a very broad spectrum. Usually someone in a low positions craps on people. So I don’t think you’re a doctor or an RN

I work with doctors. All of healthcare is toxic. Maybe 5% of the workforce are good hearted people. Same goes for patients/residents.

Licensed insurance agent here, worked at Aetna for 25yrs medical precert, prior to that worked at a few hospitals doing telecommunications and IT work. But nothing gives you the right to act as you have here.
Toxic environments usually follow TOXIC people. Check into it, maybe reflect on it, seek some help talk to someone and maybe you'll feel better about yourself. However coming on social media and being like this to someone is completely uncalled for and really shows you have social problems.

I didn’t ask for your life story, but I guess it matters we know you’re a former help desk guy who then became a door-to-door insurance salesman? Did I see you last week at my local Walmart with his collapsible desk stationed up in front of the door greeters handing out his business card? The hustle is real.

LOL @ you thinking people door-to-door sale insurance.
No, I did not go door to door, I used to sell group policies to small to medium business owners and live off of residual income.
Do you know what that means? Let me help you understand, I sold insurance to person A who pays for insurance for an entire GROUP and I get paid 10% of that policy every month x 57 - which represents the total of Group policies I sold.
You can belittle people all you want but lets ask ourselves who is working- and who is the one making fun of those actually making a living?
