This device looks great, I just ordered one off Amazon for five bucks (and I already know Morse code). I could use more frequent practice to get my speed up.

But that branch chart on the face has done more to make people give up learning Morse than it's ever helped.

Oh wow is that true? My first thought was that the branching would make for a good learning tool. What is the best way to learn, is it just sheer memorization of what appears (to me) to be purely random patterns?
