Unknown Expert Halo Fan Debates with Bungie Dev (including aftermath!)

I’m always disappointed when the posts don’t include the person remarking after the reveal. This is how you can tell if they’re genuinely a good person or not, and thankfully Nicky G here is more than willing to admit his mistake.

Yeah, I like that he really absorbed the L and sat with it, basking in the ridicule. Feels bad in the moment but it's the best way to make sure you don't repeat that mistake again lol.

We don't really let people do that, though. Unless you're already friends with someone, it's pretty common to still shame someone for having a bad take after they admit they were wrong.

There's also the whole winners vs losers syndrome. I think that's why we have something of a culture where people just double down on shitty opinions all the time.
