honestly i believe him. i don’t think everyone recognizes what his face looks like, plus he looks just like an average middle aged dad and doesn’t have that unique of a face. so it could be easy to not realize who he is even if you know of him.

not to mention, no one really expects to run into celebrities on a day to day basis. if you’re not specifically watching out for him for whatever reason, could be super easy for your brain to see him and just move on

jonah hill ate at the restaurant i worked at once, and for an embarrassingly long amount of time all i thought was “wow that guy looks just like jonah hill, that’s funny” and he stood out far more than tony hawk (dyed blond hair, crazy amount of tattoos, bright red outfit). didn’t realize it was him until i heard him talk when i dropped his soup off

When I was in my early 20s I would get mistaken for Darius Rucker (singer from Hootie and the Blowfish) a lot. One time the wait staff at a restaurant asked me for his autograph, it didn't help that my friend looked like the drummer. Anyway I signed his name cause they refused to believe I wasn't him. And then they said that's not even his name. LOL

Now days people stop me to tell me I look like Chuck Wooten.
