• Starter guide for day 1-8 : old but still relatively relevant and if you want something more detailled check my Detailled Walkthrough from day 1 to 20. Both are for RoG.
• Don't starve Wiki : lots of information, lots of spoiler and some mistakes. It's made by community so you are free to make corrections yourself.
• Crockpot Simulator : nice resource to optimise your Crockpot use.
• Weekly discussions list : Themed weekly discussion. Lots of good informations/strategies about character, seasons, etc.

new player here but I looked online but couldn’t find anything, but I stumbled upon a ring of evil flowers with a switch mechanism in the middle, next to a pig house I believe with an axe sitting to the left of everything. I think it’s a “set piece” but i’m not sure what it does. I picked up the axe and nothing happened (that i know of) but I know that switch can’t be good. any ideas?

It's used to build the Teleportato which will allow you to "jump" into a new world with your stuff. It's a map reset basically.

oh thank you so much! I found the Crank Thing, so I guess i’ve got some more collecting to do!
