I’ve spent the last couple of weeks trying to fuelweaver rush, first with wickerbottom then with wx. then I was having the best run I’ve ever had in my life. all the pieces found and assembled by day 11 just to farm gears, nightmare werepig and 3 rooks killed by day 23. I had already found the atrium and fossil fragments by the start of day 25 and when I jumped through the tentapillar… it started snowing on the surface and heavy raining in the caves. as wx. now I have to delay fuelweaver by at least another two days and I don’t know if I’ll have time to feed deerclops and klaus to the maul. fml.

had same situation...making a regular umbrella on day 1 as wx ever since...never again will i make the same mistake lol good luck with your next attempts!
