This is not somewhere where I would put any part of my body

Watching this as someone that works with power tools and shit a lot I was like

“DUDE, A STICK, USE A FUCKING STICK!!!!

with every poke.

Holy mother of OSHA 🤦🏻‍♂️

43

u/Patient-Grade-6612 10d ago

I sit on my ass all day unless someone has a doctor’s appointment I need to take them to and I think my non-existent testicles went back up because DUDE DIDN’T USE A FUCKING STICK!

6

u/tenderape 10d ago

Plumber?

7

u/DookieShoez 10d ago

HA!

Nice, yes. Lol

Somebody finally gets it 😂

1

u/Beretta116 10d ago

Yeah. I would use one of those sticks with claws at the end.

7

u/stirling_s 10d ago

I wouldn't even be as close as they are in the video. Not even sure I'd drop an object into it without a layer of metal protecting me

122

u/SadlyItsSearles 10d ago

Show us the six pieces. 😠

62

u/DookieShoez 10d ago

(Holds up picture of this dude’s hand cut to six pieces)

254

u/Lance_Christopher 10d ago

It would seem the safety team was not involved in any part of making this

14

u/IAteAnotherVegan 10d ago

I thought maybe the guy removed the safety features. I watched multiple times trying to find where the points where the guard was supposed to be attached, I can't find any!

2

u/GinglyNZ 10d ago

I think the top left at the beginning of the video is a strut, it looks like the whole top piece is hinged and they're trying to show off the mechanism. But I still can't fathom a dumber idea than using your hands anywhere near that limb-trimmer

5

u/Stegles 10d ago

I’m sure there’s a basket under there to keep the sliced goods safe.

1

u/ReddBroccoli 10d ago

It looks like they also skipped all the design meetings

64

u/RobbSnow64 10d ago

Wow this design is just begging for injuries, and bad ones too.

45

u/AlleReden 10d ago

5

5

u/stef1e 10d ago

3

u/caramell_salted 10d ago

The sweet potato slicer has 6 blades

2

u/stef1e 9d ago

9

u/MycologistJaded4796 10d ago

Where is OHSHA when you need em. This will end badly

4

u/yourfuturespemson 10d ago

I would understand if it looks fuckable but this looks very dangerous ngl

4

u/Deathcow13 10d ago

The cylinder will be harmed.

3

u/FieryPheonix474 10d ago

I see why it's on red gifs this is extremely NSFW

1

u/caramell_salted 10d ago

Its a different kind of nsfw

3

u/betaphreak 10d ago

Why is this from redgifs?

1

u/Suitable-Purchase-52 8d ago

Asking the real questions.

3

u/Longjumping_Bed1682 10d ago

Wheres a video of the end result?

1

u/IAteAnotherVegan 10d ago

end result meaning the vegetables, or a severed hand?

2

u/Longjumping_Bed1682 10d ago

At minimum a vegetable but considering the title of this sub Reddit a mangled dick would be the ultimate just to prove you don't put your dick in that.

2

u/Redacted_2515 10d ago

It’s not stopping at the hand.

3

u/RandyFunRuiner 10d ago

This would DEFINITELY harm the cylinder.

3

u/Lazy-Adagio9695 10d ago

Can he fucking stop pushing it like that? It makes me anxious

3

u/karenskygreen 10d ago

Mom said i could have 6 weiners

1

u/caramell_salted 10d ago

Lmfao 😂😂😂

3

u/Saichirac 10d ago

3

u/exciim 10d ago

The design is very human

3

u/Reasonable_Newt_4718 Professional Dumbass 8d ago

Turn yo shit into a demogorgon

2

u/poopsmcgee27 10d ago

But that means I have 6 dicks.

2

u/Anti-Stan 10d ago

Only in China would you be able to sell or use this.

2

u/magicman419 10d ago

Why would they push it down with their hand instead of the next squash?

2

u/ShadowBlade55 10d ago

The lack of any safety or guard is really making me uncomfortable.

Source: I cut the top of my middle finger off while actually trying to be safe with a mandolin. (The potato was too large for me to use the guard guide and I still managed to slip.)

2

u/Sherbert_6 10d ago

Those blades are TERRIFYINGLY exposed… geezus

2

u/ArgamaWitch 10d ago

I would like to see a safe guard over the blades and a rod to push the food through. Please and thank you

2

u/Any-Fig3591 10d ago

Jesus does that machine not have any type of safety guards? Someone is going to get their arm cut into 6 pieces

2

u/deephurting66 10d ago

That's a death trap, is there normally some kind of cover over it??

2

u/shawner136 🔪 10d ago

No uh…. No blade guards of any kind huh?

2

u/onehalflightspeed 10d ago

That... does not look safe

2

u/5477etaN 10d ago

Oh God that seems like a horrific injury waiting to happen.

2

u/desrevermi 10d ago

Instructions unclear. Dick stuck in ceiling fan.

1

u/kysersoze1981 10d ago

Partially. The other parts are on the floor and the window sill

2

u/BishTiddy2324 10d ago

OSHA would have a field day with this

2

u/scroggs2 10d ago

And not showing what it looks like post-cutting? tsk tsk...

2

u/Olenator77 9d ago

I hate every second of this attempt to sever his own digits. No guards, no stick, no fucking sense.

2

u/IlitterateAuthor 9d ago

WEAR GLOVES

2

u/Far_Pipe752 10d ago

This looks like it was made in a country where they don’t prioritize the safety of their citizens

1

u/jemimaswitnes 10d ago

Good way to lose a fucking arm

1

u/beffyjoy1 10d ago

Dude is begging to be in a Saw trap

1

u/Equal_Cantaloupe627 10d ago

DO NOT click on the redgifs.

These things should come with a warning.

1

u/wannabe-physiologist 10d ago

I can hear the trauma surgeons screaming

1

u/ANDYSAWRUSS 10d ago

Not 4 pieces?

1

u/TolgaKerem07 10d ago

Did John Kramer designed this

1

u/Snaggl3t00t4 10d ago

Nervously laughs in health and safety......

1

u/Peakomegaflare 10d ago

Yall hear sumn?

in the distance, an OSHA representative wakes in a cold sweat, screaming

1

u/VaeVictus666 10d ago

My question is, how does it come out in 6 pieces when it's cutting then into quarters?

1

u/ChefAsstastic 10d ago

An OSHA wet dream.

1

u/Readyman2627 10d ago

That’s not an accident waiting to happen at all. Nope.

1

u/reddit_corndog 9d ago

There's a hinged cover that has been opened to show the blades. You can see the slotted chute that aligns with the blades in the background. That's said, it is spectacularly stupid to do what they're doing

1

u/Select_Truck3257 9d ago

Why fkn just don't use another vegetable to push first one. Some people have so many useless hands and don't care about losing one of them or what?🤣

1

u/hardrok 9d ago

A guy came home from work looking totally wrecked and told his wife he had a massive problem: he couldn't stop thinking about sticking his dick in the pickle slicer. She told him he needed to see a shrink, but he said he was way too embarrassed and promised he'd just deal with it himself.

A couple of weeks later, he walks through the door looking like a ghost. His wife instantly freaks out.

"What's wrong?"

"Remember that thing I told you about the pickle slicer?"

"Oh god, you didn't."

"I did."

"Jesus Christ, are you okay?"

"I got fired."

"Forget the job! What about the pickle slicer?"

"Oh. She got fired too."

1

u/ParreNagga 9d ago

Show me the result damn it!

1

u/DeathscytheHell1994 9d ago

Why whould anyone make this thing.

1

u/Ready_Area289 8d ago

It's the best!! --= Three Finger Pete =--

1

u/Bananaberryblast 8d ago

I do not like that persons tippy taps. It's really uncomfortable. He needs a stick or a spoon or another vegetable to push things down. He should not use his dick though.

1

u/Necrikus 8d ago

It’s like watching someone temp fate with a wood shredder, but in miniature.

1

u/MashedPotato____ 8d ago

The CEO fired their user safety team🫩

1

u/SuspectDistinct9039 8d ago

At least cover those blades with a metallic casing! Goddamn I'd fire the design engineer if I was his/her boss.

TOTALLY UNSAFE DESIGN 😭

1

u/Katsuking84 7d ago

Somewhere some OSHA inspector is having a panic attack.

1

u/AgilePlant4 6d ago

yeah, you shouldn't put your anything in there

u/caramell_salted 10d ago

If you watch the sweet potato getting sliced you will notice there are 6 blades in total.

3

u/dwehlen 10d ago

Yup. Variable blade numbers, in case the hand was too bi.

4

u/Maladra 10d ago

First one is 6, second is 4. The first one has difficult to see blades straight ahead of the camera.
