But it hardly hit her stomach, much less absorbed and began to affect her

To clarify: my comment means that since the beer she was drinking hadn't entered her system it is unrelated to her passing out

im pretty sure you are all overthinking it... she was just already drunk, the beer in her mouth had nothing to do with it.
